The guy is obviously either a fucking moron or a really smart troll getting everyone pissed off by saying dumb shit.

Either way I'm no longer responding to him. I would ask for a ban but given past history, I'd say there's a better chance of a black man being elected president than a retard being banned from VSN.

The scores of our last 4 games against you. BTW, as a frosh, when he was a 1 read and run type of player, he threw for 3 TD's and completed 65% of his passes against you guys.

That part wasn't. After Johnson's long TD pass put them up 7-0, they forced a 3 and out and Johnson completely a big pass into Texas territory but it was nullifed by an illegal blocking penalty. He completed 2 straight passes after that, but they couldn't get the first.

but I know he did make a critical mistake.
He threw a pick when they were down 35-21, it was against man coverage in the red zone and he led his RB way too far on the wheel and Earl Thomas picked it off. Didn't hurt his team much, the defense forced a 3 and out.

The Great Ones don't make ANY mistakes in those kind of big games. 0 INTS!
Just stop. Troy Smith threw a pick in his Heisman Trophy clinching performance against Michigan in 06. Vince Young played a brilliant game in the Horseshoe against the Buckeyes in 05 and had a pick as well as a fumble IIRC.
That's why he'll never be there because he folds in big games and isn't able to even beat Texas.
Johnson is not the reason they lost, not even close. He had a brilliant game, I came away wondering how the hell I had missed this kid all season long. There are multiple reasons A&M lost this game... the defense letting Colt McCoy rush for a career high 175 yards, allowing a KR for TD when they had just trimmed it to 42-39, and then missing a field goal with 3 minutes left that would've brought it to within 7 points.

Johnson had a brilliant game, I'm not sure why you think that he didn't.

This may be me hating UM and F$U, but even before he takes a snap as a starter, I would still take John Brantley over whatever turd F$U puts out there. And before Harris, too.

I think Brantley will be pretty good. I agree that whoever Florida St. trots out there (and in turn, the esteemed Jimbo Fisher, lol) will suck donkey balls no matter what.

Jacory Harris is a G though. Just needs to cut out the INTs.

Savage is a great QB but nowhere near top ten in the country. i might rank him in the top 20 but he would be near the bottom of that list as well. this must just be his New Jersey talking but then again i dont really know where this guy's head is at because its so far down on Colt Brennan's dick.
Could be when its all said and done.

He is a really good football player...lots of talent.

Now, no. In the future? Maybe.

However, the starting list is junk anyway. Nesbitt over Luck or Ponder? GTFO.

Tell me what's so great about Ponder? 14-7 TD/INT ratio, 2700 yards....Or have the standards for good QB play gotten so low in Tallahassee that you merely have to be above average to be labeled a hero?

I didn't watch enough of him to say one way or another, but as I explained earlier: His modest numbers, my lack of exposure to him, my hatred of Jimbo Fisher as an OC, and the previous failures of Nole QBs all give cause for skepticism.

He just frankly makes better throws than all of those other guys. The problem last year was really he had a shit WR corps cause most of them got suspended or kicked out because they are fucking retarded. THANKFULLY that problem has been solved this year.

Also, you have to note he missed parts of the season with his shoulder injury. That put a dent in some of his numbers.

But yeah, honestly, our standards are set so low that if you A) know the playbook B) don't make stupid ass decisions C) have SOME ability to get the ball downfield and make something happen we have to think there's improvement there.

Do I think he's going to be a top 5 QB in the country? No, is he better than anything FSU has had in the past 10-15 years. Absolutely.

Exactly. He's without a doubt the tallest midget we've had in quite some time.... it's really quite sad.

But he's black, and in order to be considered successful at a Florida university as QB, you must be at least part white.

Unless your name is Charlie Ward, and then you have to retire from football after college.
