Clausen looked pretty comfortable playing yesterday. He made some mistakes, but he looked much better than the box score indicated. It also looked like he was in command of the offense appearing to make some nice audibles. I'd like to see what he could do with the #1's, but I don't think Carolina wants to heat up a QB controversy right now.

I'm going to try to find a cast of the Seahawks game tomorrow to get a glimpse of a couple of former Irish players.

I went to Bills/Redskins last night. The Bills defense was supposed to be their only saving grace but they look incredibly lost out there in their strange 3-4/4-3 hybrid defense they are trying to run. Aaron Maybin will be even worse as a 3-4 OLB than he was as a 4-3 DE as he has no change of direction ability and is too easily pushed out of the way. He was the only Bills player that played the entire game and didn't register a highlight until the 4th quarter when he touched and already falling over John Beck for a "sack". I will say I like John McCargo as a 3-4 DE end a lot more than i liked him as a UT.

Bills QBs proved what we already knew. Nobody on the roster is comfortable throwing more than 10 yards down field. Kind of shocked that Brian Brohm didn't even get one series. Joique Bell is going to steal Marshawn Lynch's roster spot.

Great. Fred Jackson got hurt and will miss the rest of preseason. Only good thing out of this is Spiller will get 1st team reps now and hopefully build some sort of a rapport with his blockers. Also hoping Joique Bell explodes and proves he should be our #3 RB over BeastMode

Love the knee jerk reactions fans have when a backup performs well against other backups.
This led to some Lion fans actually believing Drew Stanton should be a starter.

Ironically these same fans are now predicting a 9 or 10 win season and a playoff berth this year.

Yeah, for them to even get 7 or 8 wins they'd have to have everything go right and that just won't happen. The defense still has major holes especially since Levy and Delmas both have nagging injuries at the moment.

Also, the running game and offensive line are gigantic questions marks which affects what may be the teams best area, the passing game. We still have a ways to go before we're playing playoff football.

Dolphins about to start against Tampa Bay. So excited!

                          Edit:
Wow, that ball just slipped out of Marshall's hands -___-

That #19 isn't good, a little of Ted Ginn we just saw there.

On the Buccaneers first 2 pass plays Freeman ended up running on both of them. Thats probably a sign of bad receiver play by Williams and Stovall, not being able to get open.
