Alex Bullard, who I saw play in high school and am facebook friends with, is transfering to UT.
:/
Wants to be closer to home since his father passed away a couple months ago. I guess I'll ask for stories if I ever see him on campus.Comment

Really too bad. Kelly needs to hit offensive linemen REALLY hard next season in recruiting. I think we only have two or three coming in this season. We lost Bullard and the unfortunate Matt James death as well.Comment

In more drama where Aaron Lynch continues to see how much pain he can put me through, he is visiting Notre Dame this weekend. Apparently he has either decommitted from FSU or atleast soft verballed to them now. Remember he wanted to early enroll and FSU's classes started abut 2-3 days ago. IE has been running slow all day.

SAN ANTONIO *- Aaron Lynch plans to officially visit Notre Dame next weekend.
Lynch will visit Notre Dame next weekend.
Other than that, there's little clarity with the four-star defensive end and one-time Irish commitment, who on Friday backed off his verbal pledge to Florida State while professing his love for the Seminoles while talking about his passion for Notre Dame while saying he'll form a dynamic defensive end tandem with Stephon Tuitt in South Bend next year.
"I'm all screwed up right now," Lynch said. "That's all I gotta say. I'm all screwed up right now."
Regardless of his state of mind, Lynch now becomes a lead story at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl and a tug of war between Notre Dame and Florida State. Lynch said he spoke with Irish assistant coach Tony Alford on Friday morning and plans to call him again this afternoon.
Florida State's ardent recruiting of other defensive ends may have opened the door for Lynch to reconsider, but Alford's dogged work let Notre Dame walk through it.
"It's not like he's been staying on me, he's just been a father figure throughout the whole thing," Lynch said. "He's just been there the whole time, just talking to me. They've just been by my side the whole time. They haven't given up. A lot of colleges, 'Oh we don't have a chance. Well, if you say this we're going to stop.' Notre Dame didn't care, they just kept coming and coming and coming."
Lynch originally committed to Notre Dame in July, then dropped the Irish after the October loss to Tulsa, then committed to Florida State in mid-November. The Rivals100 prospect said he will enrollee early with the Irish or Seminoles, which could complicate matters for Florida State because the University began the spring semester on Jan. 4.
"Now that's the thing, I think I'm going to have to go now and de-commit," Lynch said. "I'll talk to my mom. I'm confused right now.
"I'm tired of it, I just want to take this (Notre Dame) visit and go."
That Notre Dame official visit would be Jan. 14, and Lynch would begin classes in South Bend that next week.
"I still love Notre Dame. I want to give them a chance probably," Lynch said. "It's changing thoughts, just the way with the (FSU) coaching staff and stuff like that. Just the depth chart, they're getting all these d-ends. It's a big positive because (Notre Dame) don't really have anything. (Tuitt) is the only d-end going in right?"
The Irish have verbal commitments from Brad Carrico and Tony Springmann, both slated to play defensive end at Notre Dame. Carrico is also an early enrollee. While the Midwest commits can provide a foundation for Notre Dame's front, there's no doubt a Lynch-Tuitt combination would bring a different level of athleticism to the Irish defense.
"We wouldn't be losing anything, we'd actually be gaining," Tuitt said. "If (Lynch) comes to the school that would be a great plus for us. (I've) just been mentioning Notre Dame, that's it. Not forcing him to do anything he doesn't want to do."
At this point the only person who knows what Lynch wants to do might be Lynch.
But even he's not sure what's next.Comment

Sounds like Lynch is legitimately confused and torn.
Honestly, for his sake I hope he makes whatever choice he wants to for whatever school he wants and finds peace with his choice.
From what I can gather his family is all about Notre Dame. He has a lot of friends and some coaches pushing him towards FSU. Lots of people pushing and pulling at Lynch right now. From everything I have read about Lynch and his words and actions I think his heart is with Notre Dame but he is getting a lot of pressure to go with FSU from those around him.
Looks like playing time is a big issue for him and if he comes to Notre Dame he'd have the best chance right away. It's good to see Tuitt pushing from him to come to Notre Dame because that means that Ga Tech is more than likely out of the picture.
It might be great if he can commit and EE at Notre Dame and that would get him out of Florida where all the FSU pressure seems to be coming from.
I hope Lynch makes the best choice he can for himself and can for once rest easy with the choice.
Then again, like I said earlier....
Ishaq, Tuitt, Lynch, Nix, Shembo, Stockton all at DL or OLB.plus Lewis-Moore, Johnson, Kona

Tuitt said on an interview that he is 95% Irish and just visiting Georgia Tech because his family wants to. He said when he told ND that he will visit other schools and they said sure do what you think is best, we will still be here, that it really helped solidify his commit to ND.
It really is something that ND has shown that I don' know if other schools do. The politeness, confidence, and the general good natured they show towards recruits probably is like one of a kind in todays recruiting world. But maybe I am way off base and schools like Florida let their 5 stars take visits across the country.Comment

I have to LOL at IE and the FSU boards.
IE is creaming themselves over Lynch trying to get back on his mom's good side and shit after the board blew up at her over her son's decommit. It's creepy, sad, and pathetic. Basically calling FSU trashy and telling Aaron to follow his heart to Notre Dame as though they know it as a fact his heart is there. I mean I made a guess but I'm not going to state it as a fact. That board is bi-polar about recruits and pretty much believes that if you choose any other school over Notre Dame you're going to be flipping burgers for a living.
FSU boards are doing what they usually do. Throwing around claims of ND lying, saying FSU and ND are no different academiccally(major lulz), saying Aaron's mom should stay out of Aaron's choice, and the end all is that they said Aaron and his mom shouldn't trust Kelly because Kelly got Declan Sullivan killed. Seriously?Comment

Lynch is expected to pick between ND and FSU tonight.
After watching the AA game where he looked unstoppable, it will probably be one of the biggest recruiting days since Manti chose ND over USC.
If not, Tuitt is still a monster.Comment

-Floyd is looking more and more likely to return to school.
-Lynch has dropped FSU from his schools completely. It is now between Florida, Miami, and Notre Dame.Comment
