Hate seeing guys go down for the year, especially when they haven't even played a regular season down in their careers. Sucks.

I live here. Actually went to Pitt-Johnstown for a year then transferred to IUP. You familiar with the area?

Yeah, I live a little more than a half hour away from there...and I have a lot of friends that go to both UPJ and IUP. I go to college around the Pittsburgh area though.

This is a pretty big blow for the Texans, Tate is a perfect RB for the zone blocking system.

I hear they're high on Arian Foster too, but he hasn't been able to stay healthy and Steve Slaton can't hold onto the football to be considered a serious threat.

I was thinking the same thing. Just have to hope that there is little faith by the coaching staff in Steve Slaton returning as a viable #1 back. Hopefully we get to see Tate next season, should be a good back for the Texans.

I was excited to see University of Buffalo RB James Starks play for a Packers roster spot. He's been on the PUP list since the start of camp with a nagging hamstring injury. That has been my biggest disappointment of training camp so far, so I can't imagine how big of a blow this is for Houston fans.
