Oregon State almost had it. I just don't like helmets w/o some kind of emblem on it. Give me a block orange "O" w/a thin white outline. And outline the numbers as well. You'd have perfect jersey. Love the pants. Love the helmet stripe. You just stopped a little too short.

its supposed to be simple. its an homage to the 1940s team . I bet it was more ohio states idea in the first place. They probably told Nike- " dont give us the overdone crap like VT".

Doesn't matter what the purpose is. I'm not grading them on the artistic degree of difficulty. I'm grading them on how they look. Whatever they are paying homage to, they were changed no doubt because they were ugly and outdated. I can go out & wear a suit from the 1890's & it may be classic, but it still will look out of place.

I was just teaching you uniform history, dont have a hissy fit. And no, you cant compare uniform styles to clothing styles because some teams have barely changed the overall look in 50 years. There really isnt anything outdated in sports uniform- design-styles. There is just traditional and modern and they constantly circle each other.

it made perfect sense. Calling yourself the brain and not understanding it is the joke .

these are experiments for creativity and to see what resonates and what doesn't.

I prefer traditional myself but its still fascinating and thats why I posted all this.
