Ok...but comparing Blount doing something in the heat of a moment twice..and the second one being absolutley no big deal regardless of who is doing it...is a HUGE stretch in comparing the "repeat" aspect of it to Pacman who's clown tendancies are off the field, not in the heat of the moment, and have resulted in police action.
LaGarrette Blount now punches guy WITH helmet on

This is still an overblown story, out of all the things he's done wrong this is by far the tamest. I don't understand all the fake outrage over something so common.Comment

You're right, Blount is an idiot. He has problems and was getting suspensions at Oregon before the whole Boise incident.

Agreed.
Its like if Pacman Jones got into another strip club brawl, and people defended it by saying, "people get into strip club brawls all the time, the media is only making a big deal because its Pacman Jones."
Um, yeah, that's exactly why its a big deal. Because its Legarrette Blount.
The reason it's a story is because the guy got suspended last year for doing this exact same thing... how can people not see why it's a story.
If Ron Artest punched a player in training camp in the year following "The Brawl", would it just be "Well NBA training camp fights happen a lot, who cares?"
No, it's a big fucking deal because this guy SHOULD be on a short leash.Comment

It's also NFL fan hypocrisy at it's finest.

But, yeah. What's the excuse should this guy actually make a roster and for whatever reason hook off on someone during a game? You know they're gonna be baiting him for it.
sidenote; it's been said so many times before, but you have to be a special kind of stupid to punch someone wearing a football helmet.

LeGarrette Blount is an idiot. Why can't he control himself? To be the first guy to punch someone at practice is embarassing.Comment

after watching the video..blount is a retarded classless thug. He is what 35% of todays athletes are only he has no control of where he came from. That wasnt a training camp fight. That was blount being blount. The mfer has some issues....big time. That punch on the guy was not called for. lol at him swinging a punch and throwing his hands up and getting in his fighting stance. I grew up around shit like that. To see blount do that shit just shows that you cant take the hood out of a person.Comment
