^No homer here, but I don't see how you can't have Steve Smith starting. He's due to break out anytime, especially with Eli throwing balls to other people and having them tipped up and picked. Steve Smith was Eli's reliable and dependable guy in 2009, look for him to get much more looks soon.


Also, somebody in my league dropped Steve Breaston, I hopped all over that with a waiver claim.

Yeah he'll probably go back in over Lance Moore I just haven't changed it yet.

Your RB and Flex situation looks all right for the week...

Know that MJD will run on the Colts even with 8 in the box; Ronnie will split carries with Ricky to set up PA... but the Pats' D is bad enough to net you 10 points at the minimum; Best versus BJGE is a toss up.

Best will either do nothing or feast on the Packers drawing flags all day.

BJGE will get more points from screens and draw plays.

Do you guys recommend keeping a backup TE, K & DEF in my 6man bench or should I just take a goose egg on bye weeks if I have a good player, or should I pick up a FA replacement on bye weeks?

I'm looking at dropping Crabtree, Greene, Jackson and maybe Caddy for the Chief's D, RB Hillis, a backup Kicker (Janikowski, Bryant or Rackers) and TE (Olsen, Marcedes Lewis, A. Hernandez).

Any thoughts?

You don't need a backup kicker. I would DEFINITELY pick up Hillis if he is still available ASAP, I can't believe he is even still available. I would drop Caddy and Crabtree out of those 4 if you need to. And I would wait to pick up a TE on Gates' bye week considering those guys are still available.

I'm really confused about who I should start at RB/Flex...any help?

BenJarvus or Smith. I'd probably go with Smith, but I'd bet money that BenJarvus gets something like 40 yards and a TD this week.

Tolbert @ AZ definitely.(Although watch for Mathews coming back)

Mark Clayton at SEA...pretty sure they suck at pass D, Moore just had one good game and it generally rotates between who gets the most love from Breesus anyways, Shockey might be a good choice because I hear with Bush out he is Breesus' check down. But I'd still go with Clayton. Brees is hurt, so who knows, they may want to go with the run more this week.

But I'd like to see what someone else has to say about that.

And what do you all think about Crabtree with the new OC? I am hoping to get him in a trade currently (just packaged in and I'll have him sit on my bench)

Not sure who to start now. I have Ward/Lloyd/Jacoby(I am pretty sure I will take him, Andre Johnson is playing, but since he is banged up, it might actually help his performance) who can take my 3rd receiver spot already on my roster...or I could pick up DBey(He is doing good with Bruce in and with Louis Murphy banged up and against the Texans....) or Nate Washington.

I have Atlanta's D right now, so I am definitely hoping to pick them up off of waivers but I have to drop someone, but who...
