      Fractional points are stupid. If your league had a championship end in a tie, your league commissioner is a dumb fuck for not picking a tie breaker.

      Bench points are good.

        Fractional points too much for you to handle? Why should it have to drop to a gay tiebreaker when you could just have fractional points which account for every yard?

        Also, we had a tie one year in FF years ago and we've ran fractional ever since

        I agree that non-fractional is very amateur, and probably not being played for money

          Bench points sound really stupid. The players are on the bench for a reason, not to help get any points. Sounds like a weak league format.

            I don't use my bench to get points I use my bench to for handcuffs, good matchups or waiting for some guy I think will produce eventually. WTF

              Why are they stupid? You've said this twice now but have yet to give a legit reason.

              There is NO reason someone with 51 yards deserves the same reward as someone with 59 yards. For them both to be worth 5 pts is borderline retarded. What the hell could possible bother you about fractional points? You're not doing the math yourself, you're just getting a ton more accurate read on things.

              They dont round down your yards in real football, why should they in fantasy football? (Just using your real life/fantasy comparison).

              Why should there even need to be a tie-break? If for some reason you still end up ties with fractional points (which would be truly remarkable), then ok.. I can see a tie breaker. But franctional points usally prevent that from happening and for good reason. Every single year in my pools atleast one game is decided by a .10th of a point or so.. thats how it should be.

                It definitely should NOT be played for money. Theres no legitimacy there. Rounding down your yardage is absolutely hideous IMO.

                    Why wouldn't fractional points be stupid? They aren't real points. That's like getting paid fractions of pennies at your job. And I don't mind 59 yards counting the same as 50. Do you reward someone a first down if they pick up 9 yards on 3rd and 10? No. The yardage milestones are what they are for a reason.

                    Sorry our league differs from the norm, but fractional points would never fly in ours. Paid league by the way.

                    The only thing I think is stupider than fractional points is PPR. That and team defenses. (We do IDPs)

                      What if someone rushes for 9 yards and another one rushes for 1 yard. Should they both be given the same amount of points?

                        Im still waiting for a reason that they are, ive already given a few why they arent.

                        And WTF kind of flawed logic is "thats like getting paid fractions of pennies at your job", no, its like getting paid normally. Is getting paid 59 cents the same as getting paid 51 cents? No, its not. Are they both rounded down to 50? No. Furthermore, the first down comparison may be even more ridiculous.. once again, do they round down your yardage totals in the NFL? No.. 73 yards is 73 yards... not rounded down to 70. That would be absolutely asinine.

                          Just to show an example here..

                          Player A: 79 Yards = 7.9 Pts
                          Player B: 49 Yards = 4.9 Pts
                          Player C: 107 Yards = 10.7 Pts
                          Player D: 38 Yards = 3.8 Pts
                          Player E: 97 Yards = 9.7 Pts

                          Total = 37

                          Player A: 71 Yards = 7.1 Pts
                          Player B: 42 Yards = 4.2 Pts
                          Player C: 100 Yards = 10 Pts
                          Player D: 33 Yards = 3.3 Pts
                          Player E: 91 Yards = 9.1 Pts

                          Total = 33.7 Pts

                          And this is just with 5 Players. So thats a 3.3 pt swing right there. Why the hell should they both be worth the same amount of points when they blatantly are not?

                            If you need 10 yards for a point, then yes. (We do 15 yards per point, but same principal) You shouldn't get credit for partially succeeding. If you need 15 yards to score a point, I'm not giving you half credit for 7 yards.

                            Do they give you 3 points in the NFL when you get to midfield?

                            Does the team with the most yardage always win?

                            No and no. Fantasy football is a simulation game based on real football. If you want to have a "who can have the most yards" competition, be my guest, our league prefers it a different way. You have to earn your points.

                              I have to agree with Kuzzy here.

                              I lost in the semifinals due to a tie (his team had more total TDs so he won the tiebreaker).

                              It's bullshit. I'd rather get outscored by fractional points then lose on that BS.

                                Why don't you just make the yardage totals the tie breaker then? You're basically saying you don't mind getting credit for 1 yard. My league doesn't like it that way and we never will. If you like it that way fine, but I disagree.
