Lol. The Saints fielded one of the best defenses in the history of the NFL. They have been in the playoffs several times they were always one and done due to inept offenses. In the end history is yesterday and the present is now and now the Saints with Sean Payton have a history of finding diamonds in the rough

3 times is simply..3 times, like I said, history matters. If the Saints keep it up for 10 years than you can say they make good picks.

I dont see where youre trying to get with saying the rams have done better than the saints in drafting diamonds in the rough. Knubb is stating the saints have found players who slip through the cracks and we end up picking up. Jahri Evans, Carl Nicks, Pierre Thomas, Colston, Lance moore and Im sure there is a couple im missing here who were late picks who panned out really well.

the Saints havent proven to do anything in the long term. this is their one bright spot. The Rams have been near the top multiple times- that is all

overall = a rookie had a great scrubb run and the Saints have years to go to prove they are more than a one shot wonder.

I'm sure other teams also find future starters in the late rounds
