So since putting the umpires behind the LOS has caused so many issues, I have got an idea.
Why not put the Umpires back in the Defensive Backfield, but this time give them pads and helmets?
I mean right now, there is no semblance of a hurry up offense, there's calls missed in the defense backfield and we also need to keep the umpires safe.
On a side note as an Eagles fan, I haven't seen a 2 min drill or hurry up offense in 10 years, *cough* Andy Reid *cough*, so it makes no difference to me. But now the other 31 teams won't have a 2 min drill or hurry up offense if this mess continues
