some of the bowl's that have an agreement with the BE have it built into the agreement that they can choose Notre Dame once every four years... as per the BCS, if ND finishes in the top 8, they get an auto bid, but they don't take the bid of a BE team (see 2006, when Louisville and ND both played in BCS games)...

I guess I need an explanation of how Notre Dame going to one of the lowest bowl games and pretty much losing money to do so classifies them as "doing whatever they want"...............?

LOL at neither of them factoring in that the Capitol One bowl hates inviting LSU (or any West team) and would never do it twice in a row. The Cap-One Bowl has a strong preference for the Eastern division for travel reasons. I'd expect an SEC homer like Schlabach to know something like that.

If LSU is not in a BCS bowl this year, they'll go to Cotton or Chick-fil-A.
