Strap your fucking helmets tighter

If you've played ball you know sometimes you wear em' a little looser because when they're tight It's an absolute bitch to get those things on and off your head and actually get em' strapped up in under 10 minutes.

On the other hand, they are poppin off a lot it seems, but if it doesn't bother them, It doesn't bother me.

To strap your helmet on takes about 5 seconds tops, and I wear mine incredibly tight. I don't know what you're trying to say here. You click the little button things together and your good.

What I dont understand, not that it has anything to do with the helmets flying off, is players still wearing soft chin straps. With the hard plastic available why risk getting your shit split open wearing that cheap shit?

Yeah, I went out and bought a newer underarmour hard chinstrap and replaced the shitty one the school gave me, it's a ton better, doesn't cut into the chin, and the hits don't feel as bad.

LoL.. yeah sometimes I wonder how modern-day WR's would feel about a
guy like say Ronnie Lott roaming around on the field..... All you have to do to
get close is to see what Malcom Jenkins (Safey, Saints) did to one of them
Pack receivers last Thursday.. that was a serious shot.. even though the
Saints took the L it was just nice to see someone in this era deliver wood..
.. defensive players today are viscious, big-strong-n-speed= bad for receivers.

I remember in Madden 05 I was playing against the Sugar Buzz, and I was going across and got my helmet knocked off by one of their guys. Funniest shit ever.

Just saw Kellen Moore's brother catch a pass and his helmet flew off just by hitting the ground. Yeah, fucking strap it tighter.

Yeah screw that hard strap. I had one in HS and I was having constant problems with my buttons popping on almost every play. Mostly because they snapped on the crown of my helmet, those buttons always popped off. I switched back to the cheap strap the school provided and it buttoned on the jaw area of the helmet, rarely had a problem after that. It seems the cheap straps flex/stretch on hits, the hard chin straps, not as much. Also I cut my chin once on a hit with the hard chin strap. Kinda sucked. That's when I switched over the soft strap. I never realized how often I had my helmet nearly flew off until I switched back to the cheapy strap, and rarely ever had the problem again.
