Week 1:

Taking Green Bay on the spread line. They are only 3 point favorites to the Eagles. There's really not much the defense can do to stop Green Bay's outstanding passing attack. I've got Green Bay winning by 10-14 points.

Taking St. Louis on the spread line. They are 4 point dogs and I actually think they will win the game. Arizona's offense will do jack shit the entire game even though St. Louis' defense is nothing but bad. I see this being a very close game and the Rams actually coming out on top.

Taking Baltimore on the spread line. They are 2 point dogs and I feel NYJ is way overrated. I see Ray Rice having a big game against the Jets defense and Boldin should shine against Cromartie.

Takings Indianapolis on the spread line. They are 2.5 point favorites against the Texans and I think they'll win this game by at least a TD.

Lastly, taking the Titans to beat the 6.5 point spread against the Raiders. Don't think the Raiders will be able to do anything all year once again and week 1 will be a great start.

Honestly, I'm not going to bet it, but I think the Giants are giving Carolina way too many points.

I predicted a 30-21 win for the Packers. I'm just not confident enough in the Philly offense with Kolb yet. Then again, if people had confidence in Kolb, the O/U would be higher than just 47.5.

As for the Saints game, I really want to do it, but I just love Favre so much I can't bet against him.

Not with 2 very pass happy offenses. I'd be pretty upset if the Packers couldn't put up 30 against the Eagles D.

Haha I feel ya bout Favre, like I could never bet against the Giants and I see how you could feel that way with Bret. I went to the Giants-Saints game last year in New Orleans, it seems like that city is rejuvenated and gets HELLA up for the game including brees. I remember on the local networks there Brees saying he was gonna put up 40+ on the Giants defense (stout D at the time), and I was like "disniggasrs?"

Saints coming off the bye won 48-27. Stadium was electric. Never seen a team prepare so well to rape our defense like that. I'm sold on Superdome home field advantage.

Lines I LOVE:

NE -3.5 over Cincy
Indy -1.5 over Houston (as much as I like Houston this year, I think Indy wins this one)
SF -3 over Seattle (I was liking our chances before this week.. think we have way too much roster turnover to pull the upset now)
Miami -3 over Buffalo

I'd probably buy the half point in the NE game and leave the rest.

Took my Ravens/Jets bet off with the signing of Revis. Took Miami to cover the 3 point spread against the Bills instead.

Steelers +2.5 [I trust the D and Mendenhall to get it done at home]
