Official 2010 NCAA Betting Thread

Here's my thoughts after quick looking at all of the lines for the first time:

-Florida St -9.5 vs. BYU? A lot of points to give up for the disappointing FSU
-I like Cal a lot -2.5 vs. Nevada
-Florida giving Tenn 14 points @ Tenn?
-Kinda like Northwestern -6.5 vs. Rice

Anybody have any thoughts on the Cincy game Thursday? Haven't researched it yet but I think the last I saw the line was +1.5 for Cincy..

Early lines that stand out for me [not saying i'm playing them all or any yet]

KSU -4 v Iowa St - KSU has beaten them in the last two years and I see no reason why they shouldn't again

Houston -3 v UCLA - UCLA is terrible and Houston can drop 50 on anybody [pending on Keenum's health]

Wisconsin -14 v Arizona St - I can't see Arizona St going into Wisconsin and doing well at all

ECU +19.5 v VT - They have played alot recently and ECU has always pushed them close.

MSU -3.5 v ND - MSU is legit and ND's D has shown me nothing to think they can stop MSU's offense

Auburn -7 v Clemson - Night game at Auburn. Have fun with that Clemson

Air Force +17.5 v OU - OU is good at home but Air Force run the ball well and eat the clock. Can't see it being a big blowout

I can't remember the exact score without looking but I think FSU beat them by 20-30 last year.

I'm on the fence about Cal. Nevada has a monster triple headed run game and Cal likes to make things difficult but I think Cal will probably win

NCST is -2 at bet365. Cincy is struggling with life after Kelly and NCST is off to a hot start behind a good QB. I can't really get a good read on that game.

Now that you mention it, I'm liking Auburn to cover. I haven't seen much of Clemson but I've seen Auburn look great on offense twice and bad on defense twice. Even with the questionable D, the home game factor and the fact that the ACC sucks has me thinking Auburn is the play here.

I'd avoid that Baylor game if I were you. TCU's D can, and probably will, shut Baylor down. That could be a 27-3, 24-0 type game.

After digging deeper into this game since I actually like Baylor as a + spread team with Griffin this year

They average 25 ppg with him at QB and the lowest they have scored in one game is 6 in his freshman year

TCU may be the best D he has faced though.

Ill endorse the Baylor pick.. shit COULD get ugly but @ 21.5 dogs with a legit offense.. they should be able to scrape it out. 3 TDs is a lot of scoring.

The most retarded line of the week has to be ECU +19.5 @ V-Tech tho.. like, seriously? How you gonna lose @ home to James Madison then get a near 3 TD spread to ECU? Thats ridiculous..

Nevada's offense is very potent and im still not sold on Cal post Best, altho it seems most people are. Furthermore, playing a night game @ Nevada is going to be a crazy atmosphere.. I think Nevada's offense pours it on and Cal will be unable to keep up with em. Should be a shoot-out, too.

Throw in that they're +120 on the ML and im more then sold.
