    We don't even need Big Al to be the guy if he comes back. We've got a budding star in Jason Jones and a solid starter in Tony Brown along side him. Can you imagine a dominant Jones and Big Al playing together on the same line? You'll have to double one of them, and that'll open so much up for our pass rushing ends like Derrick Morgan and Jacob Ford, because they'll be able to pin their ears back and just go after the quarterback.

    Reinfeldt needs to pull this off this time. We're still a playoff team without Big Al, but with him, we could be a true contender to do something in the playoffs.

      Haynesworth is a bum.

      He has his money, I don't want him in Tennessee. Its a waste of money and letting younger guys get playing time.

      If the Titans get him it will just fall under the many poor decisions made my the management.

        I have to say...Jason Jones is gonna be great, EMU! No really, doubling up one of them would open up many other lanes for Morgan and Ford if Haynesworth is brought back..

          A 50% Haynesworth > Jovan Haye at 100%.

          Like I said, no one is saying Haynesworth needs to be the guy if he comes back. But if that happens, then that's just a huge reward.

          Low risk/very high reward.

            Jason Jones is possibly a legitimate Pro Bowl defensive tackle, if he stays healthy. That's been his biggest weakness since arriving at Tennessee.

              Yes I'm fucking serious. Don't let me go Bmore on you and bring out Stats because Fletcher is one of the best mlb's in the league. He consistently puts together good seasons. Albert Haynesworth on the other hand is a prima donna who was looking for a payday and got it. You can defend him all you want. I think he is a piece of shit.

                Haynesworth has always had motivation issues.

                The only two seasons he tried he was a beast... funnily enough, in those two seasons, the first he was in the final year of his contract and the second he was playing under a franchise tag.

                Apart from when he's playing for a new contract, he's just a angry tub of lard who kicks people in the head.

                Apart from being stuck with that Dan Snyder-ific contract.

                  Tennessee wouldn't have to pay much in terms of salary. Washington already paid for most of it and that is probably the only reason Washington just hasn't cut/traded Haynesworth yet.

                    Yeah, I don't remember the exact numbers but it's now like a 3yr/$15M deal or something like that if Tennessee acquires him.

                      Titans Coach Jeff Fisher was asked about the potential of a trade for Redskins defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth on his weekly radio show on 104.5 on Tuesday night.

                      Here’s what he had to say:

                      “You have to be very careful about what you try and sink your teeth into as far as what’s true and what’s not. There’s always going to be rumors out there. Albert is under contract with the Washington Redskins and we are prohibited from talking to players under contract or inquiring or even reaching out to the player, to the agent, to the organization. So he is under contract. If they are willing to look at the possibility of dealing him, then of course we’ll listen to it. We listen to those types of things almost every other day with other clubs. This just happens to be a big story because of the circumstances and the situation that arose with the offseason payment and of course all the drama associated with the offseason conditioning and the conditioning test and everything. So be careful what you hear.’’
                      Fisher's signing a different tune than what he was during the draft-day trade talks.

                        Haynesworth got his money and then cried because one of the best coaches around told him he may have to switch positions. And then he took 10 days to pass a conditioning test that Mike Golich passed the first time...and he's been retired for 10+ years.

                        Don't give me the "Redskins didn't show him any respect" line. He got his payday. Now go do what you're told to do on the field and earn your ridiculous salary. He's a giant cry baby, the TO of defense...and any team that trades for him deserves what they get after seeing his shenanigans this summer.

                          lol @ haynesworth "not being the guy." If he's not the guy, he's not happy. If he's not happy, he'll play like a rookie. The guy is more mental than any women i've ever seen.

                          It's not like he actually even played for the Redskins anyways. I think he played 30 snaps all season. Fuck him, you can have him for a 7th round pick for all I care. Have fun with him stomping on players on the ground.

                            Trading him gives him what he wants. He may have a damaged image, but he's talented and teams also understand the situation, so he'll be given another opportunity elsewhere.

                            Haynesworth = 1
                            Shanny = 0
                            Snyder = -10

                              Might be the only star in the league that Andre Gurode straight up owns every time they play.

                              For obvious reasons, I'd like to see him continue to steal Little Danny's money.

                                While all that is definitely true, don't think for a minute that Shanahan wasn't trying to come in and exert his authority over Haynesworth to prove a point. He has a reputation for it. The conditioning test was such a farce. He was never going to officially "pass" it. It was a punishment for skippnig OTAs. Nothing more.

                                Haynesworth is a lazy punk bitch, but Shanny was pushing him to prove a point.
