I'll admit Haynesworth takes plays off, is somewhat of a head case, etc. Once again though, Jim Washburn knows exactly which buttons to push in order to get Big Al to perform...I mean he's spent seven years of his career with him.
I honestly don't think he wanted to leave Tennessee in the first place. He went to college in Knoxville and had a good bit of success with the Titans. However, we didn't want to meet his demands in free agency and Washington decided to overspend for him, leaving us in the cold. Our defense suffered without Haynesworth last season (albeit, I think Schwartz was a bigger loss still) and you saw what happened. He's unhappy in Washington and probably wishes he never would have agreed to that contract with them, especially with Shanahan coming in and switching to the 3-4.
He wants to come back to Tennessee, regardless if he's the guy or not. It's just a matter of whether we truly want him back and if we can offer the right price for him.
