Profootballtalk.com reports that free agent Pat White will sign a contract with the Kansas City Royals of Major League Baseball.
He'll sign a minor league deal shortly. The Royals reportedly plan to be "flexible" if the itch to play football returns for White, but his best chance at a long pro career isn't in the gridiron sport.
