Pat White to sign a contract with KC Royals

Profootballtalk.com reports that free agent Pat White will sign a contract with the Kansas City Royals of Major League Baseball.
He'll sign a minor league deal shortly. The Royals reportedly plan to be "flexible" if the itch to play football returns for White, but his best chance at a long pro career isn't in the gridiron sport. It's believed White also has some interest in playing in the UFL, though baseball is taking precedence at this time. White was the 44th overall pick in the 2009 NFL Draft. Sep. 10 - 5:10 pm et
