I hate to say it but the hold by Alex Barron was the right thing to do. If he doesn't hold him there then Orakpo murders Romo for the sack game over. By holding you at least take a chance that it goes unnoticed. The rear naked choke was probably a bit excessive though

Im not to sure. Free didnt get a good block on whoever was rushing from the blindside and Romo still avoided him. Romo's pretty mobile so who knows.

It was good move by Orakpo. Orakpo got his hands inside and controlled Barron from the start then just ripped through.

It wasn't anything by Orakpo. I keep watching the replay. Barron actually made a constructive EFFORT to grab him outside the numbers, outside the shoulder pads. You actually have to try to screw it up that badly.

He made absolutely no effort to block Orakpo like a lineman should. None. It's one of the sorriest things I've ever seen.

Mark Tuinei is spinning in his grave over what's been done to his jersey # over the last few years.

Garrett called a fucking dud of a game. I guess he doesn't want a HC job anytime soon.

Felix needs to touch the ball 25 times a game.

Garrett will be the Cowboys HC in no time. I feel for Wade.

They knew what they were getting with Barron, he's been one of the most (if not THE most) penalized players in the league for years.

And get ready Cowboys, it's not just holding. Just wait for all of the drive killing false starts that are yet to come.

Barron for Carpenter. Barron stinks, and Carpenter was cut. Who wins?

St. Louis cause they already cut Carpenter and he can no longer be a liability.

That 3rd and 2 running back toss was so awful.

I want to do some advance scouting for when he becomes a Cowboy next year.

                              Get well soon, Colombo.

Either that or start Robert Brewster. He can't possibly be any worse.

So I made this thread last night in hopes that it would help me release some rage. Unfortunately, I woke up with just as pissed off if not more pissed off. I understand that Barron is so bad that he had to hold the guy so Romo wouldn't get sacked, but a rear-naked choke hold? If he just did a little holding, the refs probably wouldn't have called it but since he went WWF on him, they had no other choice.
