looking at the vikes schedule i'm scared we could be 1-6 by midseason. and hell we could even go some shit like 4-12 if some of the teams that look strong keep playing well and we continue to have issues on the offense. which i'm not putting all on favre, i think a lot of it falls to childress being a shitty play caller.

i just have a feeling it's going to be a looooooong season where we fall short a lot.

If they could be 3-5 or 4-4 at the midway point, they should still be able to make the playoffs as the offense picks up in a major way when Sidney Rice comes back. The defense is already playing playoff caliber football.

I'm still amazed that the team didn't push Rice to have surgery in the off season so that he would definitely have been back in time for the start of the season rather than roll the dice and hope that it healed on its own.

That will depend on whether or not Berrian makes an appearance, how bad Harvin is really hurt, whether or not Childress' play calling improves and if Favre keeps trying to force the ball and make a play when nothing is there.
