    Backup quarterbacks that could start.

What quarterbacks do you think that are backups could start? First Off I'd say Kerry Collins and Byron Leftwich. Leftwich has a tremendous arm and great accuracy and large knowledge for the game. Same with Collins. If one of these teams were to go on the Chiefs or Lions it would help their team out alot offensive wise.

i think those two would be solid on talented teams like minnesota...but i dont think they would do as good with the little amount of talent that would surround them in Kansas City or Detroit. Matt Cassel is really improving he could become a good young starter for a team. There are a lot of solid backups that nobody has even seen play professionally.

Kerry Collins is a starter, VY isnt hurt anymore, Collins took his spot. Matt Leinart coukd also start, he was solid last year and could easily goto san-fran, detroit, or minn and start

If the Jets didn't land Favre this year I was really looking foward to see if Clemens could out play Pennington in the pre-season. Guys a mystery but I think if he had some experience he might be able to raise his game.

Of course Leftwich, Kerry Collins, Quinn/Anderson. I'd like too see Lienart play.

I personally loved when Warner got to start. Just seeing that old QB who's still got it rip it up is so awesome.

Rex Grossman could, but he's way too inconsistent.

Quinn/Anderson for sure. Leinart. Clemens. List is short though. These guys are back-ups for a reason. But it really comes down to the situation they're in if they did get a chance to start.

IMO if Leinart can't start on a team that has Boldin, and Fitzgerald. He won't be able to start anywhere.

lienhart is a bust, that old ass man warner beat him out. I would like to see what JDB on the vikes can do personally. they need a qb of the future and TJ isnt it.

                            So then actually he can't.

It's tough to say Johnson because he's on Dallas, so obviously he's going to do amazing.
