    Marshawn Lynch to Seattle

    http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/M...-Buffalo-Bills

    Marshawn Lynch traded to Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks have pulled off quite the coup. FOXSports.com has learned that the Seahawks have reached a trade with the Buffalo Bills for former first-round pick running back Marshawn Lynch.

The Seahawks give up a fourth-round pick in the 2011 NFL draft and a conditional latter-round pick in 2012. There were several teams linked to wanting to acquire Lynch, among them the Packers and the Eagles. The Seahawks tried prior to April’s NFL draft to acquire the former Cal running back. Up until this point, the Bills had held firm against all suitors, but Seattle finally got them to make a move.

Lynch has 2,765 career rushing yards with 17 TDs on the ground. Lynch's numbers declined after a breakout rookie year in 2007, when he rushed for 1,115 yards.

Lynch was made expendable with the drafting of first-round pick C.J. Spiller.

This season, Lynch leads the Bills in carries with 37 for 164 yards, while Spiller and fellow running back Fred Jackson have a combined 34 carries for 136 yards.

Spiller's made his presence felt in the passing game as well, catching 12 passes for 45 yards and a touchdown to Lynch's one catch for 7 yards. The Bills rookie running back is also a threat in kick returns, having returned 17 kicks for 484 yards, including a 95-yard touchdown.

I can't believe that Ted Thompson wouldn't give over a 3rd round pick for Lynch. Like Jackson or Kuhn have been striking fear into opposing defenses

Damn. Nice pickup for Seattle. Lynch has ran with some authority this season behind that horrid OLine and QB's in Buffalo.

Embarrassment for Green Bay. Lynch is well worth a 3rd round pick for us and it's completely retarded for TT not to pull the trigger to get him. We better be making one hell of a push for D Williams.

I'm shocked that Marshawn Lynch didn't end up in Green Bay. Branden Jackson is continually looking like he is not the answer. Good move for the Seahawks, but Justin Forsett was looking like the main back, just another player to take away carries.

We are talking about the same guy that wouldn't give up a 4th round pick for Randy Moss 3 years ago. He's too smart for his own good sometimes.

Because Allen Barbre(The guy we chose with the pick we saved by not getting Moss) is so leaps and bounds better than Moss. Just stupid TT.

I'm pretty sure I read in the MJS that the Packers have 1 1st-round pick starting on their offense. We can't even give up our 3rd round pick when it's clear that we desperately need to running back. You've gotta be out of your fucking mind TT.

Now that I think about it more, there is no way the Packers will get DeAngelo Williams. If TT can't give up a 4th and a conditional pick for Lynch, there is no way he'll bite on Williams.

Reports are the Packers are looking at Brandon Jacobs right now. Not sure how I feel about it yet, but I do know it will be better than anything Jackson can produce on 1st and 2nd down.

My friend texted me about that shit when I was sitting in class today. It's a small class so I'm glad the prof didn't see me mouth the words "what the fuck" in the middle of lecture. I've been a big TT supporter through the years but come on man.

First, I agree with everyone who is busting on TT. This guy's ego is probably the only thing I can point to that is a negative with the Packers organization. Otherwise, I think they are a class team/org.

I tell you what (not that he'd do it), you give us a 3rd, and we'll give you Ronnie Brown. He's in the final year of his contract and we aren't going to drop the big ducketts on him that he is going to want at 30+ years of age. And honestly, he's never lived up to his #2 billing or combine numbers.

Remember that 4.3-4.4 Forty time? I've never seen it. In fact, he's had about 5 break through runs in his career that would have gone 80+ yards and he has been caught every single time.
