With the first set of BCS Rankings due out next Sunday, Brad Edwards says this is what they would look like if they came out today:

2. Oregon
3. TCU
4. Oklahoma
5. Ohio State
6. LSU
7. Nebraska
8. Auburn
9. Sparty (WTF??)
10. Bama

A particularly hilarious moment during the show was when Craig James tried to justify putting Arkansas in the top 8 and not including Bama in the top 10 at all, and then ribbing Jesse Palmer for ranking Bama ahead of USCe... It's official now, Craig James is a rahmatard...

I'd be giddy if Boise is the BCS #1, but I'm sure that will change as they continue to play WAC opponents and the teams under them play much better teams.

Forget the tournament which captures the attention of the entire nation (not just sports fans) for two weeks, let's just pair up Duke vs. Michigan St this year for the college basketball title. (Georgetown takes on Texas in the Nokia Sugar Game three days earlier).

Who cares if there is no perfect playoff, i'd rather have an imperfect playoff than a completely fucked up garbo system that does nothing but exclude all but two teams and destroy the potential of the sport. College football is sacrificing tons of interest and tons of money by denying fans a playoff.

The BCS is worthless...its just a compilation of other people's subjective rankings. And the "statistics" that it does use are probably some of the worst statistics you could use.

The only week the BCS actually means anything is the last week of the season. I don't know why anyone would care about the BCS prior to then.
