    Big Drake Nevis

Just wanted to highlight the real best player on LSU's defense. As great as Patrick Peterson is, big Drake is the reason why LSU has the SEC's number one total and rushing D.

He compares favorably to Ndamukong Suh's performance from last year.

    Through 6 games...

    Suh:

    36 total
    19 solo
    17 assisted
    3 sacks
    10.5 TFL

    Nevis:

    33 Total
    21 solo
    12 assisted
    6 sacks
    12 TFL

Next time you're watching LSU, keep an eye on the monster DT wearing #92. If you can't find him before the play starts, just keep your eyes on the backfield, as that's where he'll be.

Between Nevis, Peterson and Kelvin Sheppard, I don't know if there's a better trio of defenders playing anywhere in the country, though Bama's trio of Dareus, Hightower and Barron comes close.

Yep, like the bullshit in 2004 where the missed the game winning extra point but got to kick it again due to an obscure penalty.

Something controversial always happens AT Auburn. Every time over the past decade the LSU @ Auburn has had some bullshit go down.

I've seen Drizzy play, and he's definitely the real deal.

Except last time we played there, when won on a physics glitch that you only see in an EA football game. Lee got destroyed from the blind side and the ball came out funny but still somehow was right on the money for the GW TD.

I think we'll handle Auburn. Their D is suspect. But first things first, gotta get by McNeese. (LOL.) Gonna be nice to have a cupcake game, been 6 straight weeks of top 25/conference games.

Speaking of McNeese. Do you now agree that giving Jarrett Lee some snaps was the right call? I been saying it since week 2

Can't help but agree with the game he put together on Saturday. He's our clear-cut "passer", but I still think JJ should have a role in this offense.

Lee looks great though, hope he can keep it up.

It was great to see some balance in the offense for a change. Maybe the pressure Lee is putting up may help Jefferson out as a QB. I understand Jefferson's running ability is a threat that can potentially help the O, but when he is behind center I can't help but get nervous. Pretty much the same way I felt about Lee 2 years ago.

Edited first post, adding TFL. Nevis has 12 on the year, and the eventual Heisman finalist Suh had 10.5 through 6 games last year. Get this man to NY!
