Honestly, if they do make it...they're gonna get crushed by whoever else is in the game. I'm not sold on how good they are this season. It may be a little cliche to say this but VT is not a good team and they had a thriller with them. Imagine if they play someone like Auburn, Oklahoma, LSU or whoever else is impressive this year.

Boise cannot compete against top level talent. Its not like last year they beat a team that ended up in the Rose Bowl.Comment

Michigan St. will lose before year is out and I doubt they would jump Boise anyway.
LSU and Auburn will both lose before all is said and done.
1 loss SEC team will not jump Boise but they may finish #2 and play Boise.Comment

Mich St will lose
The third one I am having a problem with and shows why Boise doesn't belong. It is pretty much guaranteed that Boise is undefeated. They have a 2 game schedule. LSU has arguably the best defense in the country. One of us will lose cuz we play each other.
You are basically hoping there are zero undefeated BCS teams. Bama runs the table they get in the ship. Basically I'm saying the winner of the SEC West is getting into the NC. The East is too much of a mess.
Boise is sooooo far from a lock to the championship. Any of the undefeated BCS teams are getting in before Boise and if there is one undefeated BCS team and a one loss SEC team. Then guess who is getting left out. Boise is still a long shot to the NC

The Va Tech game should of been close, its first game of the year and basically a home game for Va Tech. Not to mention Boise was absolutely dominant for most the game til a late game lapse. Boise can't hang with BCS teams? But it beats them everytime, Peterson is one of the best coaches in the country, he has his players ready. And if Boise goes undefeated they are playing the NC no questions asked. they have had so many dam undefeated seasons and if they don't get a shot at the title when they are the only undefeated then we hear the bitching for a whole nother year. Not to mention Nevada is looking pretty impressive, and could be ranked high enough to be another credible win by the time they play.
I say let them play... I don't care how much they win by or lose by, everybody wants a "close" game for the NC with "worthy" teams.
Miami 37-14 Nebraska
USC 55-19 Oklahoma
Florida 41-14 Ohio State
LSU 38-24 Ohio State
Florida 24-14 Oklahoma
Alabama 37-21 Texas
Those our some of our NC games since 2001... not that close with your "Powerhouse" teams. If we've got scores like this from Big 10 and Big 12 teams in the past and Boise St wins out this year they should let them play, at least then a BCS team can save face by not getting blown out in the title game ONCE again.Comment
