Also you guys are forgetting, Boise can't change their schedule, NOBODY will schedule with them for out of conference, they beat the out of conference teams they play and they try to make their schedule harder and harder and the big name teams won't accept a home and home series because nobody wants to be the team a small school beat, once again.

If they let them play the NC this entire argument will be over, win or lose.

Tonight went a long way to getting BSU into the title. With OSU and Nebraska losing, its helping in the only way they're getting in is if nobody is left undefeated. Cuz that is the only way they will get in. Ill say right now though, if BSU and TCU play for the NC game, I wont watch. They played last year and the game blew.

Im still for picking a 1 loss team over them to play for the NC. Sorry, but a win away to average team in a below average conference and a win at home vs a average team in a average conference aint enough for me.

I'm sorry you feel that way. If BSU and TCU play for the championship, I'll watch. The Poinsettia bowl they played in 2008 was pretty good, the Fiesta Bowl they played had it's moments, and I'm a supporter of the small schools (even being an SC fan), so I'll be watching.

You must be shitting me. Boise is a good team. They can play with anybody in the trenches, Kyle Moore is a master of the passing game and Peterson is unmatched as a play caller.

They have a good chance to beat any team in America.

If Boise doesn't get a shot at the title its retarded for the sport of college football. This conversation isn't gonna end until Boise gets a shot, then we go from there.

            It has to happen.

Unfortunately this is probably true. I can't see many people putting Boise State ahead of an undefeated BCS team or even a one loss BCS team (depending on SOS). If they go udefeated and don't make the title game, I hope they actually play a BCS team from one of the better conferences. Beating TCU or a low level BCS team doesn't do anything to sway people's perception of them.

Oregon State could be a key team in the BCS computer rankings.

TCU, and Boise St. both beat Oregon State already, and Oregon must play their rival on the road in Corvalis in the final week of the season.

The Nevada loss to Hawaii over the weekend hurt Boisem so no potential undefeated late November matchup between the undefeateds.

TCU at Utah on 11/6 will eliminate one of those teams.

If Utah does get by TCU, they play Notre Dame on the road the following week.

I think you are right, Boise's road to being undefeated is much easier than TCU's. For that reason, TCU could end up being ranked higher, because voters have a short memory. I don't see TCU staying undefeated, I think they lost two games (a combo of Air Force, Utah, and Notre Dame). But all of those games will be close, Boise on the other hand, will just continue to blow out their competition.

They deserve a shot but they need teams to start losing. If they're two undefeated teams alongside them from more respectable conferences, the BCS will screw them again.

Ditto TCU/Utah (whoever wins that matchup).

Fingers are crossed as I laugh at all the ''big dogs''' choking it away.

Boise will still get screwed, somehow.

i would love it for Boise to lose to some shitty WAC team. then all of this would be for not. maybe one of the great New Mexico teams can take a stab at it.

NM State already lost 59-0 to them. Sorry.
