I don't think he's necessarily admitting it's the only reason he's good... but that mental aspect is a large part to the game of football and the NFL is trying to remove it. I don't blame him and I dont even like the guy.
Yeah, cuz there is nothing to fear when going over the middle if a guy can't hit you helmet to helmet...

The Steelers should pick up Kimbo if Harrison retires, he already has better tackling form.

You can see his helmet is to the side of Massaquoi's.

He hit him with his shoulder pad, now kindly shut your vagina.

        Cool picture.
Or, you could watch the video and see him hit him helmet-to-helmet.

They showed the video on the NFL network repeatedly in super slow motion over and over this morning. He clearly hit him with his shoulder, not his helmet.

I know you don't have to hit helmet to helmet and I'm not condoning helmet to helmet but there are deliberately dirty plays (Meriweather) and plays where incidental contact happens. I didn't think Harrison was leading with his helmet in either hit...

Here's the video, showing from two different angles that he led with his shoulder.

You can clearly hear helmets hitting in both instances.

His shoulder did hit his helmet, so did his helmet. Making it helmet-to-helmet.

Not only did he lead with his shoulder, but he was aiming at the numbers. Dude fucking bent down because he knew the hit was coming. What exactly was he supposed to do?

Uh, both helmets and shoulder pad are made of plastic. They make the same sound.

Not lead with his helmet, like he did. How can you watch that and say he didn't hit him helmet-to-helmet?

He was fumbling with the ball, that's why he bent down.

I have a feeling that if James Harrison played on your favorite team you wouldn't have a problem

Because he obviously hit him with his shoulder. He lead with his shoulder, and that's what he hit him with.
