And if WVU wins that game they go to the national championship game. There was really no question about it.Comment

I can officially stop watching college football now - It doesn't matter what happens, Boise St. will continue to get screwed.Comment

#25 VT: 6-2, Beat 33-30 on the road
Wyoming: 2-6, beat 51-6
Oregon State: 3-3. beat 37-24 on the road
New Mexico State: 1-6, beat 59-0, probably the 2nd worst team in CFB
Toledo: 5-3, beat 57-14
San Jose State: 1-7, beat 48-0
Wow, such a tough road.
Meanwhile, Auburn has beat:
Arkansas State: 3-5, beat 52-26
#21 Mississippi State: 6-2 beat 17-14 on the road
Clemson: 4-3, beat 27-24 on the road OT
#20 South Carolina: 5-2, beat 35-27
Louisiana-Monroe: 3-4, beat 52-3
Kentucky: 4-4, beat 37-24
#19 Arkansas: 5-2, beat 65-43
#12 LSU: 7-1, beat 24-17
As of right now, they should be above Oregon, but there's no way in hell they deserve to be above Auburn. The rankings really don't matter right now, all of the formulas don't kick in until after the season is completed. I think Boise is a great football team, but if you look at who they've played they aren't that deserving. Yes they've won every game, not trying to take that way from them, but if it comes down to it and there are 3 undefeated teams, Boise deserves to be the one left out based on schedules. Their marquee games were wins on the road against a fringe Top 25 Virginia Tech team who lost to James Madison, and against an Oregon State team who's 3-3 and that was at home. Not too impressed.Comment

The BCS is such a joke.
I truly feel for Boise State fans, for TCU fans, for Utah fans.. these teams will simply NEVER get a chance at a National Championship and it's wrong.
Butler University was a jumper away from winning the National title in basketball. But if college basketball deployed the logic college football does, Butler probably would have been stuck in some worthless exhibition game against the 7th best ACC school.
We're destined to have the same scenario as last year where Boise and TCU/Utah are going to be screwed out of a title shot.. and will likely be stuck facing each other because of the way these games are slotted.
Terrible.Originally posted by ram29jacksonI already said months ago that Seattle wasn't winning any SBComment

Either put in a playoff so a mid-major that's stuck in a shit conference with the only opportunity to schedule actual worthwhile teams coming at the beginning of the year when those schools could very well be nowhere near as good as their ranking (See: Virginia Tech, Pitt).. or give a Boise State, Utah, or TCU a shot for their body of work not just THIS season.. but the last several seasons as well.Originally posted by ram29jacksonI already said months ago that Seattle wasn't winning any SBComment

While I agree Auburn has had the more difficult schedule.. when is Boise EVER going to get its shot? They've only been winning games left and right for the past several YEARS.. not just this season, but YEARS.

Originally posted by Hawks4RealWhy in God's name are people freaking out about Boise? Still a long ways to go folks and Boise sits in 3rd. Auburn will lose, that's pretty much a lock in my mind. MSU will lose to Iowa this week and Mizzou will lose at Nebraska this week. Boise will then jump all those schools in the computer rankings.
When all is said and done there will be 4 teams competing for the Title Game: Oregon, Boise, TCU, and a 1 loss Bama.
That's the problem, barring a bunch of one-loss teams.. Boise is going to continue to get jumped as often as a blind kid playing checkers.Originally posted by ram29jacksonI already said months ago that Seattle wasn't winning any SBComment

let's not forget that MSU took it to wisconsin, toasted illinois in the second half and still won in northwestern. a win is a win is a win. As far as iowa the last two games between these two teams was decided by a total of 5 points and both of those iowa teams were better than this years version and both msu teams were worse than this years version.Comment

Originally posted by Hawks4RealI disagree that a 1 loss Bama will jump Boise. I don't think that will happen.
If Alabama runs the table, SEC Title Game included.. they will be in the NC more than likely.Originally posted by ram29jacksonI already said months ago that Seattle wasn't winning any SBComment
