Sunday Ticket is well worth it to me.. Sure, the games this weekend weren't great and if you're a star-fucker you can just watch the highlights on Sportcenter or whatever, but being able to watch every game (aside from Lions vs Redskins) at the same time is fucking spectacular.. The GameMix HD channel is a thing of beauty.. Go Chefs... Great googly moogley
Edit: I don't think the product is getting any worse to be honest. The teams are just learning how to play defense and starting more rookies this year so there are a lot of mistakes that you normally wouldn't see. It may also be the same thing that has happened with all of our want-to with video games. We're getting older and more jaded..Comment

I'm sure if the Seahawks lose, it will because of the officials...

And it won't be a shocker if the Seahawks win. Giants traveling across the country after a bye week. I'm not expecting a great game from them, and the Seahawks should be able to play well at home.

Props to Simmons for pointing this out, but listen to how shitty this call is by Chris Myers. The TV presentation for the NFL sucks balls now, too. Aside from Gus Johnson, they make every game less exciting.

Speaking of Gus, I had the Lions game on the radio with RedZone on tv with low volume, probably at 3 or 4, and I could still hear him over the radio. What a guy.Originally posted by mgoblue2290If you want to win, put Drew in.Comment

As long as you promise to stick around after the Giants pummel the Seahawks.
Supposedly, Matt Hasselbeck already purchased a team color arm sling.Comment

Sunday Ticket is creeping up to almost ridiculous price levels, BUT, it's still cheaper than going to a bar every week. And I don't even drink.Comment

...which includes the yearly gouge/rate increase, the added bullshit "HD" expense, and the added "Red Zone Channel" expense....and this past Sunday when the Packers-Jets game went to halftime, I turned my TV off and went outside for the rest of the day. The NFL sucks so bad that its unwatchable. None of the early games held my interest. Just a lot of bad football being played.Comment

When I was in college, my Sunday consisted of getting up early heading over to the sports book, then going to a sports bar.
Spent way too much money that way.Comment

Its way to much and Im pretty sure Im going to cancel it and just have the Redzone channel. You can get that seperate right? Thats all I watch anyway on Gameday. I got the ticket back in the day to follow Emmitt when he went to Arizona but now theres not really any ex Cowboys I give a care about to watch a full game of them with another team.Comment

I got out of the Sunday Ticket scam a few years ago. I learned that I can see all the best plays of the week on the NFL network or on the interwebs. At some point I realized that paying that much money for the same shit I was going to see on highlights with better commentary and expert opinions from coaches/players etc. etc. was better than the product I was paying for.
As is I record 5 games per weekend plus the Monday game all without the sunday ticket. Then I fast forward all the bullshit and when a game gets crappy I watch one of the other 130 shows I record a week. If that doesn't satisfy I watch something on netflix over my PS3. Or I fuck my wife after she gets home from buying candles and girly shit.
Also why would I care about what some shitty TV announcer has to say when I can come here and read what all you geniuses have to say.sigpicComment
