    Hawkins Out at Colorado

Dan Hawkins has been relieved of his duty as Head Coach, with only three games left in the regular season. Buffs are 3-6 this season, easy to say he was a disappointment as Head Coach. Coming from Boise, there were some high hopes, interesting to see where CU goes from here.

Heading into the Pac-10, maybe Mike Leach? Brian Cabral? Bill McCartney? Gary Patterson?

    I say Gary Barnett

Interesting to see who they can get. Bringing McCartney back would be laughable, IMO.

Losing with a 28 point lead in the fourth quarter vs. Kansas is a pretty good reason to get canned.

Hawkins has never really had any success at Colorado. His teams usually lost to subpar schools like Colorado State and Kansas. I don't know how he was so successful at Boise State.

Chris Peterson was his OC, that's why. He's an incredible play caller.

You know what's going to be even more awkward? When it's Colorado's senior day later this season and Dan Hawkins has to walk with him out onto the field.
