Boise jumps TCU in AP Poll...

Doesn't matter, if Oregon and Auburn both lose, it will be an LSU v. TCU final.

Don't you have to win your conference?

Nowhere does it say this officially, it's always just been an unwritten thing since the '03 Oklahoma Sooners backdoored in.

It definitely worked against Georgia in 2007. But in this scenario, human voters would be forced to choose between a TCU-Boise match up, or promote one of the 1-loss AQ teams.

It's entirely conceivable that voters would pull some shiesty shit to prevent the double mid-major title game. LSU is the highest rated 1-loss team at the moment, and ranked very high in all the computer polls. It's conceivable that they could jump Boise St. by the end of the year, just need Oregon and Auburn to each lose.

I'm not saying it should happen, I don't think we would deserve it, but it damn sure could happen.

        I wouldn't be so sure.

Wake me up when Wisconsin has won 4 games vs. ranked teams. 5 after we beat Arkansas.

Sure, and Oregon lost to Cal.

Not really, considering LSU is 5th right now in the BCS, and ahead of Boise in the computers. All it would take is the top two losing. We would jump Boise in the human polls because nobody would want to see Boise and TCU play.

It's really not a stretch to think that a 1-loss SEC team jumps Boise State.

It's not a stretch but I wouldn't say it's any kind of certainty.

The human pollsters will fuck over Boise or TCU if they have a chance, you can count on that. If it's not LSU, it's another AQ team. We just so happen to be the highest ranked of the remaining, so at the moment we're first in line to take advantage of the corruption.

No, it's not a guarantee, but the chances are very good that one of either Boise and TCU gets left out, because the cartel will want to send a representative of their own to show the little guys who is boss.

Oregon State and Arizona don't stand a chance against Oregon so any talk about LSU being in the National Title game is moot.

I think both teams have a good chance, I don't know. Unless you think Cal is better than either team. Plus, with Oregon State being a rival, you can throw the records out. Traveling to Corvallis doesn't help matters.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but it's not happening. LSU vs Wisco would be a fun game though ;)

We'd look forward to throwing your defense 10 yards back as we rush through that thing you call a defensive line.

We'll be headed to the Rose Bowl though.

WTF is this thread? Does the AP poll even count in the BCS rankings?

                            I thought it was just Harris/USA today/Computers
