Yeah I was looking at the poll numbers and the BCS formula trying to see how large of an impact this would have only to realize this poll means nothing.

6th in scoring D, 5th in total D, 4th in passing D, 24th in rushing D (too bad we had to play Cam Newton), 16th in sacks ... To quote a shitty movie,

      "Good luck."

Well, the pollsters are, because LSU is ranked higher than Wisconsin, and for good reason.

And the so called "experts" on college gameday final had all four analysts say Wisco was easily the best 1-loss team in the nation. Whichever way you want to look at it, neither are getting into the NC game.

Well, put it like this ... If Oregon and Auburn lose ... the polls actually do matter, the ESPN personalities don't.

Well put it like this, Auburn and Oregon won't both lose. Save your hopes for next season.

Really wouldn't be so sure. Each team has two games left, one of which being a rivalry, and three of the four teams are ranked.

Going to be interesting, at the least.

Yeah, but the AP and the other human polls are usually pretty close to each other.

I'm kind of surprised TBH. I thought TCU would lose some ground to Boise State, but I didn't expect them to jump them. I guess this just shows how narrow the margin of error is for non-BCS teams. If Sagarin's ratings are any indication, the computers still like TCU over Boise State.

TCU will probably end up higher than Boise in the computers but I think if Va Tech can win out, Boise can end up higher than TCU, and probably play Oregon for the whole enchilada.
Boise State is already ahead of TCU in the human polls, which pretty much puts them ahead for the rest of the season. Now, assuming TCU remained ahead this week, I would have thought their SOS would have kept them ahead of Boise State for the remainder of the season in the human polls.

Now, there's still a chance TCU is still ranked ahead of Boise State in the BCS since the computer average put TCU and Boise State at 2 and 5 last week respectively.

On top of that, Wisconsin and LSU are both way behind TCU and Boise in the human polls. Considering that LSU won't even play in the SEC title game, and Wiscy has no title game, there is 0 chance they can jump an undefeated Boise/TCU.
Boise's SOS will go down as well as they finish the season.

I'm not so sure about that. Who knows though? I wouldn't be suprised to see a rematch this January anyway. As far as SOS goes, MWC > WAC IMO.

I don't care who's ahead of who TBH. I don't have an investment in either of these teams. However, I do want to see them matched up against BCS teams in their bowls.

Trust me, I want to see Boise in the NC as much as you do but some of the stuff you're saying is ridiculous, TCU are gonna have a better SOS come season's end than Boise. Will Boise do enough to sneak in if one of the teams ahead loses, yes probably because they've jumped TCU in the human polls but you're making some outlandish statements.

I just dont see the humans putting LSU in as they are going to finish 3rd in their conference. I still think its Oregons to lose, and Boises SOS will hurt them more than TCU's.
