The Washington Redskins and quarterback Donovan McNabb have agreed to a five-year, $78 million extension which could be worth up to $88 million with incentives, a source with knowledge of the agreement told ESPN NFL Insider Michael Smith.
The source said $40 million of the deal will be guaranteed.
I guess he is the QB of the future. Given recent circumstances it seems strange. -

This seems strange, because most thought he was gone after the season. I'm not sure he's worth that sort of money, because he's been playing really bad this year. I think the media made too much of McNabb's benching, but I'm also surprised he got so much. McNabb is okay, but he has his issues. However, I guess after years of having bums at the position McNabb looks like a HOFer.Comment

Looks like he'll retire as a Redskin. I really don't know why he got the extension based on the way he has played thus far.
