The Washington Redskins and quarterback Donovan McNabb have agreed to a five-year, $78 million extension which could be worth up to $88 million with incentives, a source with knowledge of the agreement told ESPN NFL Insider Michael Smith.

This seems strange, because most thought he was gone after the season. I'm not sure he's worth that sort of money, because he's been playing really bad this year. I think the media made too much of McNabb's benching, but I'm also surprised he got so much. McNabb is okay, but he has his issues. However, I guess after years of having bums at the position McNabb looks like a HOFer.Comment
