Nope.
The Internet worked its magic Sunday night as news that Nebraska QB Taylor Martinez had quit the football team. The gist is that Martinez got chewed out by Bo Pelini following the loss to Texas A&M, missed a team meeting and then abruptly quit the squad. If true, it would be a damning way for the Cornhusker season to crumble just when the team needed to pull together most.
So it should as a bit of relief for Nebraska fans to learn it's not true. Sayeth Joe Schad...
Taylor Martinez's HS coach, Matt Logan, told me he just spoke w the QB, who said: "Everything is fine. I haven't quit the team."

Yeah, it's been all rumor. It was a fucking terrible game. Bo was yelling at just about everyone in that game. Actually took a bench foul late in the game. Definitely the angriest I've ever seen him.Comment

Yeah, I saw the one clip of Bo yelling at Martinez saying something like "if I ever catch you calling your fucking dad again...". I guess there were rumors that when he got hurt, he called his dad to let him know he's alright.
I don't know shit about Nebraska football besides that I can't wait to see you guys in Beaver Stadium again, so I might be pulling all this shit from the wrong people, lol.

Bo Pelini isn't that much of a dickhead, this is overblown. He wouldn't be dumb enough to run off his stud freshman QB either.
