    Al Harris Thank You Note:

There is a blog entry saying that while he (a GB resident) was taking his kids trick or treating, Al Harris was home and personally giving out candy to kids. Al Harris was/is one of my fav Packers. Good luck to him in Miami and best wishes to his family.

So he was walking around trick or treating with his kids while giving out candy at his door at the same time? Truly remarkable.

He must have bought an RV.

Al Harris is a great packer and won't be forgotten. That pick against Seattle in overtime of the playoffs will always be one of my favorite Packer memories.

No, the guy trick or treating with his kids made the blog entry. Sorry if that wasn't made clear enough.

            (Bleep) you.

            Just kidding.

I really hate Alex Bannister, not you.

If he could cover half that much ground on a football field he'd still be a starter.
Best reason to have a license.

Brought me back to when Kampman did a similar thing when he became a free agent.

over/under on posts until MrBill comes in with some tirade against TT for getting rid of him that he will ultimately link to the TT/Favre saga??

In all seriousness though, Al was great and will be missed. Until Woodson showed up and Collins finally came around, Harris was pretty much the only reliable DB we had for numerous years. Wish him nothing but the best.

                      :stone:

I love TT. I'm going to suck his cock as soon as you and bucky get through fighting over it.

Harris was one of my favorite Packers as well. Sure hope the DB's stay healthy for the stretch run and that their lack of playoff experience doesn't bite the team in the ass come January.

Pssh, that's nothing. Michael Vick can literally hand out candy while running.

Much love for Al Harris, still somewhat curious as to why we released him but I wish him luck in Miami.

this is absolutely true, and because of it i think he was overvalued as a player, but still. our secondary was absolute shit until we signed him away from Philly. it was time to let him go, especially with the emergence of Tramon Williams (and who saw THAT coming? did anyone outside of Packers Franchise players in Madden even know who that guy was before this season? it's amazing how he turned on a light switch and became awesome) but... we want the ball and we are gonna score was a top 3 moment in the last 30 years for the Packers.

How many threads on over the hill bum Al Harris do we need?

Settle down Packer fans, you're starting to turn into the Buccaneer fans that post every meaningless dumb ass thing about any of their past or current players.
