Giants sign Michael Clayton *insert RyanLeaf joke here*

Whether it's a really bad underachieving WR, or a really bad George Clooney movie, nothing called 'Michael Clayton' is ever any good.

Clayton didn't win ROY. Roethlisberge did. Clayton was huge in his rookie year. 80 catches, nearly 1,200 yards and 7 TDs.

Then he shit all over himself. He blamed Gruden for his failures after that. After Gruden was fired he said Gruden broke his confidence. He got a $25 million extension and caught a handful of passes last year. He sucks. He's a one-hit wonder. The Giants have to be DESPERATE to sign this piece of shit.

He better not take away from Hagan's role. Clayton is garbage, I agree that he was a one-hit wonder.

I have no idea why our front office through money away on him with that extension, he was pretty much a waste of roster space after that monster rookie year. Good luck to him with the Giants but he probably wont do much to contribute. Guy cant catch a cold.

With Steve Smith out for the rest of this month, Hakeem Nicks out for 2-4 weeks, Ramses Barden on IR, and Victor Cruz on IR we had to sign someone. We were working out Kevin Curtis as well.

Because he was a beast at LSU. He had one great season in the NFL and became a journeyman overnight.

More great seasons than Josh Reed ever had.

May be the case but he wasnt a Buc so I can care less. He was the Bills problem.

Clayton getting that huge extension has to go down as one of the most baffling signings in the history of the NFL. It wasnt as if the Bucs bought into a bringing in a new player who showed some flashes of his old play to end a season, it was the same team that KNEW exactly what they were getting themselves into because they were familiar with how poor the player had played. Just mind boggling.

PS: Kevin Curtis >>> Michael Clayton.

Giants are SUPER desperate for WR help. They effectively lost their #1, 2, 4, 5 and 6 WR's. Manningham, Hagan and whoever they trotted out there is left for now. Desperate times right now for the G-Men....
