I knew the Eagles weren't as good as everyone was saying, the OL is average at best and the defense overall is very mediocre, even in their big wins they still gave up a lot of points.

They were playing without their 2 starting corners (Samuel and Hobbs) today.

They'd won 5 of their last 6 before tonight. They were due for a loss. Losing to the Bears on the road by 5 points isn't that bad of a loss all things considering.

It was a great team victory for the Bears but it isn't like Vick was the reason the Eagles lost. He threw for over 333 yards and 2 TD's with another 45 on the ground for a 94.2 rating.

              Still fantasy gold for me...lol

People say this about every team in the league the week they lose.

Nobody is as good as people think apparently.

Hobbs had been replaced by Patterson whose been playing pretty well, Hobbs was getting burned consistently. It's just one of those years where there's no completely dominant team.

Samuels being out was huge, but that doesn't excuse the awful run defense. That being said, it was a tough road game that was essentially decided by the turnover in the Eagles redzone and the ensuing TD drive by the Bears before the half. The Eagles are still one of the top teams in the NFC. And I still think they are the favorite in the NFC East. I'm not in panic mode yet.

Keep in mind a good amount of that yardage came at the end of the game facing prevent-esque defense.

I keep thinking, "All right, the Bears will finally start losing," but that streak never happens.

No matter how much you doubt the Bears--and I fucking hate them--they keep winning.

Very true, but isn't that the case for pretty much every team except those like the Colts and Pats that make it to the Super Bowl pretty often?
