Lou Gehrig's Disease won the Grey Cup?

I knew the CFL sucked.. but that's kind of ridiculous.

Time to actually add something intellegent to this thread...

I actually kind of like the fact that Montreal won, but there's an ulterior motive to that, and that's that it really increases the likelihood of Calvillo and Cahoon retiring, which is great news for the rest of the East division.
Finally back after a 3 year hiatus!

Cahoon will most likely retire judging from post-game interviews but I see Calvillo coming back at least one more year.

I would watch the CFL if I knew when it was on, it seems a lot different than the NFL which is a nice change of pace.

                      Congrats to the Alouettes.

As a Rider fan, that was tough to watch. It once again felt like we gave the win away. I know that's a cop out and disrespectful to the winning team, but its how I've felt after the past two Grey Cups. After finding a nice offensive rhythm in the first half, the Riders completely tanked in that regard in the second half. Almost zero offensive production through almost the entire second half. Some of that was tight defensive play and some of it was simply poor execution. The game was still close and Durant suddenly can't complete a pass. Fucking hell.

The worst part is that this city lives and dies with the Riders, so I'm going to have to endure everyone at work wanting to bitch about it. I think I'll be telling a lot of people to shut the hell up today.

I care more about the UFL than I do about the CFL. And I've never even seen a UFL game.

I used to watch a lot of CFL games when ESPN carried it in the 80's.

I think the NFL should widen the field like in the CFL, the game won't be as condensed and it might lessen some of those helmet to helmet hits.

One of the arguments behind why H2H hits are a bigger and more frequent issue in the NFL is because of it becoming a passing league.

Even at this point now, the NFL is nowhere near the passing league that the CFL is and H2H is a non issue in the CFL.
