He brought GB back on a brilliant drive that should have forced OT against "NFC's best team" only to have special teams and defense blow it.

He brought the team back in that playoff shootout last year only to have the defense blow it.

He kept an injury depleted team afloat despite injuries to many of his offensive weapons.

He's not perfect. He has many flaws. He holds on to the ball too long. He needs to learn to slide. But he's a damn good quarterback.

enough with the garrard BS, hes got the best running game in the league in a divison with Houston, Tennessee and a struggling Colts team with a ton of injuries. In NO way is the Jaguars success because of Garrard

And what does that have to do with running out of material for an obvious troll attempt?

Who do you blame for the Vikings NFC Championship loss last year?

Your homerism again making Rodgers seem like a God.

I am not arguing that the pass was perfect and a bullet but let's not get carried away with him "scrambling to buy time." He was facing a 3 man rush. A 3 man rush that gave up midway through the play and gave Rodgers 6 or 7 seconds to sit back there.

In fact, he didn't even have to scramble, he just side stepped towards the sideline and waited for someone to get open. Still a bullet of a pass but don't act like he single-handidly (sp?) tied the game by himself.

Funny thing is, he could do it with a losing record. Damn, how bad is the NFC West? St. Louis is improving. Glad to see it for S. Jackson's sake.

So, the Jags success has nothing to do with Garrard's 65% completion %, 93.2 QB rating (almost as good as Rodgers.) David Garrard also has a bad line, crap WRs, and was sacked just as much as Aaron Rodgers.

I'm still not sold - I say Garrard is just as good, maybe better than Aaron Rodgers.

                  Prove me wrong.

I said he scrambled out of the pocket to buy time....which he did. He didn't sprint or evade 10 defenders. Never said something like that. It was a great pass and a great play and you can't argue with that by any means.

Aaron Rodgers is 5 games over .500 as starter, zero playoff wins.
David Garrard is 3 games over .500 as starter, one playoff win.

I'm just trying to find out why Prime would bold Garrards name and laugh.

                      Prime?

Teams prepare for Rodgers chucking the ball all game, while Teams prepare for MJD and the Jags running attack. so even with the whole defense focusing on him, Rodegrs still has better stats than garrard

Empty stats don't really count for much, just look at Kyle Orton. He's putting up MVP stats, but would any of us take that hack as our starter? I wouldn't.

Also, Strahan, that top 10 wasn't a real list, other than Sam Bradford being listed. I was just trolling. I wouldn't put Aaron Rodgers that high on my list - he's probably 8th on my actual list, if that. Aaron Rodgers, for me, is about potential. That's all he has right now. I don't give a fuck what anyone says, he's not all that much better than David Garrard, who Prime laughed at.

Aaron Rodgers is like Matt Schaub, we'll base everything on what he can and might eventually do - but if we're going by right now, they haven't done jack or shit. The funniest part is - If Aaron Rodgers finishes second in his division behind Jay Cutler, people will consider that a bigger accomplishment than if David Garrard leads his team to a division title over the Colts.

Is Aaron Rodgers becoming a better NFL quarterback at 1am?
