It’s funny how Broncos fans see Tebow as being "handcuffed by the damn coaching staff" as if they were scared to unleash the beast. This is the NFL.....and Studisville (sp?) is coaching for what could be a job next year......if Tebow was "ready" why would the coaching staff "handcuff him"? This makes no sense, because the coaching staff is auditioning just as Tebow is. Granted, Tebow played better than people thought, but I wouldn't be so quick to anoint him just yet. Dilfer made a good point on how to judge young QBs. He said the best way to judge them is by looking at what they do on 3rd and long, because it’s an obvious passing down. Tebow went something like 2-10 on completions.

I'm not saying Tebow is going to be a bust, but let’s hold off on anointing him the next John Elway/Mike Vick just yet. Let’s see what he can do when having to play against teams that have some tape on him and who are really playing for something. I actually like Tebow and hope he succeeds, but let’s just slow down a bit, because it’s not as if he had the huge game.

LOL yeah wow they really think he is going to be great by those comments, "he ran tough out there, he made some nice moves, he made some nice throws." Cleary, everyone thinks he's going to be GREAT. You're a fucking idiot.

Excellent comparison. Especially since Tebow is 3 inches taller and 30 pounds heavier. Oh, and also the huge difference in speed between the two lends to this comparison as well. Let's not forget that impressive arm strength that Tebow does not possess, which makes him exactly like Michael Vick.

You are right, race and the way they treat dogs are the only two discernible differences between these two identical players.

I find it funny that pretty much every naysayer on here MAYBE caught the NFL Network highlights or what they saw on the RZ channel and is making their assessment.

I'll tell you what I didn't see from Tebow, turnovers. He protected the ball on every pass and every run he made. Campbell on the other hand had a number of errant passes only one of which Denver was lucky enough to come away with.

Run DMC and Jacoby Ford along with the Broncos inept defense and coaching staff that is in way over it's head won the game Sunday for Oakland. Anyone who watched the game could see that. To say Campbell won that game for them is laughable at best and hearkens back to a Nukleopatra-esque style of argument in which it is just QB vs QB out there and the other 32 guys on offense, defense and special teams don't even matter.
He's played 1 damn game and you guys are acting like he is seriously going to be a top 10 NFL QB. Which is even funnier because this is the same type of shit you guys were saying about Kyle Orton last year and even at the beginning of this year. You guys were all over Orton's dick the first few weeks.

Let's see what happens when teams get some film on him and the Broncos offense with him at the helm and figure out how to gameplan vs. him.

How about you guys just sit tight and see how the kid develops before you start slobbering all over his dick after he completes 50% of his passes and loses his first game as a starter.

The "it" factor is a joke. People only point to intangibles when there aren't any measurable things to point to.

What about Brady then? People point out his intangibles, and he has good stats and good results?

I'm talking about unproven players. No one was talking about Brady's intangibles until after he started winning.

                        Time for Round Two...

Guess which QB's put up these stats up in their first starts :

                        QB A : 23/31 224 Yards 1 TD 1 INT

                        QB B : 20/31 225 Yards 2 TD

                        QB C : 22/35 253 Yards 2 TD 1 INT

                        QB E : 21/37 276 Yards 1 TD 1 INT

                        QB A = JaMarcus Russell

                        QB B = Bruce Gradkowski

QB C = Matt Lienart (Against the best Pass D in the NFL that year)

                        QB D = Ryan Fitzpatrick

                        QB E = Derek Anderson

                        What a pointless post.

You're slobbering all over a Jason Campbell performance you didn't even see moreso than I am Tebow and I watched every play...

Again... I'll wait until someone else who actually watched the game weigh in before I can really consider what you're saying. The fact that you think the Raiders won that game because of Jason Campbell and not in spite of him tells me you not only didn't watch the game but you probably didn't even watch the highlights.

So say what you will about your "silver and black cock" but at least GS and I are sticking by our shitty team. You jumped ship on your mediocre team a month ago.
I never said the Raiders won because of Jason Campbell. In fact, I'm basically agreeing with you in that the Raiders won despite Jason Campbell but Campbell still had a better game than Tebow.

Guy ran a draw play on 3rd and 24 for a TD and didn't turn the ball over so you guys think he played great. I'll say he played ok. He doesn't deserve a thread 4 pages long about this performance though, that's for damn sure. But of course, you and goblin are the two biggest idiot homers on the site and can't shut your mouths about the Broncos even when they are one of the worst teams in the league.

I've been a Raiders fan forever. Unlike you, I don't feel the need to make threads about every time Darren McFadden takes a dump or updates his twitter when the Raiders are below .500 and at the bottom of the AFC West cuz I realize that would be annoying and pathetic.
