- He's never going to be a polished passer. He's always going to have that awkward throwing motion, and it's only once in a great while you'll actually see him be fundamentally sound when he throws the ball.
- He runs like a pussy... he's Cam Newton's size and he runs like such a little bitch. I've seen him lower his shoulder like 3 times, and every time he trucked the shit out of a LB, but he just won't. He doesn't even juke or anything, pretty much all he does is just run and hope to outrun everybody.
- Poor character guy. Can't take criticism, you've seen how he blew up on Mark May when he was a freshman, or even Herbstreit this year when he called him a "Fake Buckeye" because Herbie criticized OSU. Frankly, not the kind of guy I want representing the school that I'm paying $30,000 a year to go to.
He's never going to be the player everyone thought he was. He'll never be a passer that teams are going to be afraid of. He won, though. He went 30-4, won his lone bowl game start, won 3 straight Big Ten titles, and beat Michigan 3 times. I guess I can't ask for much more.
TP was extremely raw coming out of high school. When I say extremely raw, I mean he didn't even know how to properly execute a j-roll at the Army All-American game, and the coaches were just flabbergasted as to how he didn't even have that coaching, but even they saw the potential he had. He still has a ton of potential... but I doubt he'll ever reach it.Comment

This is a clear example of where the NCAA's priorities lie...
OSU just suspended them for the Sugar Bowl, and was going to have them pay back whatever they owed, similar to what they did when Troy Smith got caught taking a $500 handshake back in '04.
NCAA steps in, and for some unknown reason declares them eligible for the Sugar Bowl, but suspends them for the first 5 games next season.
Questionable? I mean this in regards to declaring them eligible for the bowl game.Comment

Permanently inking your own body is not cool with the NCAA, but embezzling 200 grand through your daddy's church is fine and dandy.
Oh, and LSU RB Stevan Ridley was just declared academically ineligible too. Still unclear exactly what happened, but he's one of the smartest kids on the team and we're appealing, so it wouldn't shock me if it was some bullshit technicality.
Fuck the NCAA.Comment

Troy Smith getting $500 = Suspension
AJ Green selling jerseys = Suspension
Terrell Pryor trading jerseys for tattoos = Suspension
Cam Newton being sold for 6 figures = Acceptable
Love that NCAA. I completely agree that OSU's players should be suspended, no questions asked, especially with the precedent set by Green. I don't get how Newton is allowed within 100 feet of a football field.Comment
