        You talking about 2001? lol

They're expecting several feet of snow and concerned with the ability of the fans to travel to and from the stadium safely.

Depends on what the weather models show them though.

            Yeah, just heard that tigstah.

NBC wanted it on Tuesday night because it can be a national game, otherwise it would have to be a local game on Monday night.

This is why as a rule of thumb the NFL never schedules night games in cold weather cities late in the season.

Nobody wants to drive to and from a game in a blizzard, it's just stupid. Just play Tuesday, its more logical.

Football is a FALL sport, not a winter sport. The occassional snow game looks cool and is fun to watch, but too much snow just kills the game and is horrible for travel.

It just sucks because now they'll have pretty much no down time before the Dallas game. But at least they're playing a familiar division team and not a random AFC team.

                      lol this is Philadelphia, remember?

We all know how that fanbase gets in a stadium filled with snow.

drunken eagles fans with snow/ice at their disposal is a scary thought.

A rule of thumb doesn't mean never, it just means that 93.4% of the time, the NFL doesn't schedule non-flex night games in cold weather markets the last 3 weeks of the season. It's still wrong assumption though because the Bears played 2 games out of that remaining 6.6% in the past couple of years.

I think the blizzard delay was caused due to God wanting to give Favre a couple of extra days to recover from his concussion

Bunch of pussies postponing a game over 8-12 inches of snow? I thought philly fans were tougher than that. Guess not.

It really sucks. I have tonight off, but not Tuesday.
At least the Birds got the NFC East and are guaranteed one home playoff game.
