I don't get this. I only see a couple Colt games a year so please explain. Why the Caldwell hate?

It's not his fault your team was ravaged by injuries. It's not his fault the young corner got beat by Braylond. It's not his fault the young corner ran into the punter. It's not his fault the defense couldn't stop the run game in the 2nd half.

Is it more than just this game?

I though Manning could have done a better job of running down the clock prior to Vinatieri's field goal. I do agree that Caldwell wasted 2 timeouts. Poor clock management all around.

L-oh-Fucking L @ calling a timeout when the Jets were satisfied with kicking a 50 yard field goal with Folk (Folk!).

I was rooting for you guys, but you guys did everything wrong at the end there. Everything.

I haven't liked him since he benched the starters when they had a chance for the perfect season.

Well to start, Caldwell shows no emotion on the sideline, even when calls go against the Colts. IMO players feed off of the coaches emotion, there has been numerous times this year when there have been blatant terrible penalties that are called and he just sits on the sideline doing nothing.

Not fighting the call nor talking with the official to gain an explanation etc.

He's called bad timeouts and apparently doesn't know how the challenge system works

Just his general football knowledge seems to be lacking, he picked up a team that Dungy built and the coat tails of that are wearing out.

I don't know if it was because of the injuries the Colts had buit it didn't seem like a Colts offense that Peyton has.

Losing Collie and Clark hurts a TON...maybe the Jets run attack did a great job of keeping Peyton off the field.

Every game or so he calls some wacky timeout in an awful spot or calls a random challenge.

Not to mention, our half-time adjustments have been awful all year and we are racking up so many random undisciplined penalties under him that would never have happened with Dungy.

And... what exactly does this sleepy fuck coach? He's a "qb coach" yet he says himself that he gives Peyton no input. So is he just paid alot of money to give locker room speeches or what?

I hate how Caldwell will get a pass this year because of the injuries when he's made multiple bad decisions that have 0 to do with anyone being hurt. Just means we'll be stuck with him that much longer.

He's not a good coach, got hired because he's Dungy's boy and Indy was scared to take risks hiring someone from the outside.

What's even more impressive about him is he just gives three word speeches.

When it comes to communicating with his team, the root of his weekly message isn’t a sermon, it’s bullet points. Or, more specifically, bullet words.

                        Three words.

Each week he starts Wednesday with an explanation of those three words. Each pregame he bangs again on those points of emphasis.
I'm pretty sure his job is to just thumb through a fucking thesaurus all week.

He did do one thing right, though: he brought in the most bad-ass punter in the NFL.

Dude gets arrested, grows out his hair, punts, does kickoffs, AND holds for field goals. There's nothing he can't do.

Now you know how it feels to be a fan of a team with this shit.

Andy Reid is the master at this, he's the worst of all-time in terms of time-out and challenge managing, that's an absolute fact.
