He doesn't seek out the ball at all IMO. He had one game with more than 4 tackles this season and only two games with more than 3. You look at a guy like Charles Woodson, and he only had 2 games with less than 4 tackles. He is a playmaker. Revis is not. No sacks, no FF, no INT, nothing. Woodson is a complete corner, Revis is not.Comment

Revis is one of the top tackling CB's in the league...and he's an elite CB.
All this about seeking out the ball...when the opposing team doesn't throw to you, what can you do?
Earlier when Revis was playing on a hammy that hampered his play, he still was a top 10 CB...teams actually tried to test him and they had some success. The Moss play over the top, the rook from Denver had a nice catch on him, Lloyd was ok but didn't do much. Most of the bad play that people want to talk about came from the games before the bye.
After the bye, he's been brilliant. Jennings, Megatron, Andre Johnson, Wayne, etc...anyone he covered he completely took out of the equation.Originally posted by Nick MangoldWes Welker is a great player. He's really taken advantage of watching film. If we don't keep a Spy on him, he could really open the Gate.Comment

This is the 2nd time I've heard about how great of a job Revis did on Jennings. Something I'm missing here?
He had 6 catches for 81 yards in a game Rodgers only completed 15 passes for 170 yards. He was burned several times that game.Comment

lol @ people underrating Woodson just because of his age.
Woodson is the most complete corner in the league hands down. No argument can even made for any other player. He was phenomenal last season and damn good this season as well.
If I had to pick one guy, I'd say Troy Polamalu is the best defensive player in the league.Comment

Rex Ryan is a glorified cheerleader. that's what he does, he talks up his guys. and that's fine. He's got young players like Sanchez on his team that need the confidence, and with all things in life, if you don't honestly beleive in yourself and beleive that you will be successful, you won't be.
if Ryan posted on messageboards on the internet.... and come to think of it, if hes uploading foot fetish videos to the internet, he probably does... people would be like DON'T FEED THE TROLLComment

Now this is just a question so Im interested in your opinions.
Do you guys think these CBs are really that good (I know they are good) or......
Are they good and super over hyped that QBs stay away from them all game.Comment

There's a reason that QB's don't throw to their side, they've seen enough tape to know if the corner is good or if it's just hype.Comment
