Michael Dyers 37 yard run: Where does it rank?

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WYKBeA0dPk4[/ame]

Where would you rank this play in terms of college football history? Under 2 minutes left, 19-19 in the National Championship game, basically set up the game winning FG for Auburn as time expires. Play overall was a classic.

Although a great play, this was a forgettable game that will probably be vacated in a few years. This play will be easily forgotten.

Just looks like something that'll be on a "follie" video sometime in the future, he didn't even score.

I think the fact that he didn't score makes it better. Then it gives Oregon time to get one offensive play.

Would have been better if the dumbass didn't stop...look around..then keep running. Had he kept his legs churning the whole time and didn't need the assistance of the entire sideline to tell him to keep running (he should have kept going anyway), it would have been bad the fuck ass.

                Still good though.

To answer the question, there have been 10,000+ better plays than this made in college football history.. He didn't score, he took a good 3-4 seconds to realize he wasn't down and he didn't score... Did I mention that this play was good but not great because he didn't score?

i didnt think it was a good run at all. it was a fluke and only turned into a 37 yard run because the crowd and sideline told he to run. he thought the play was over obviously forgetting the first rule of football....play until u hear the whistle

Forgettable game? A defensive game doesn't mean it's forgettable.

I wouldn't say it was defensive, it was a forgettable game because it was sloppy, mistake riddled and just a poor game of football overall.

yeah...there is a difference between defensive and sloppy/unprepared

neither team was ready to play. thats mostly because of the 37 days off. they both played poorly all game and neither team ever dominated on either side.

this game was won because of a sloppy 37 yard run. even the final 10 seconds were sloppy by the coaches. auburn was all ready to kick the FG with 10 seconds until someone finally screamed in the coaches ear that they had 2 TO left and could run some clock
