I love when these teams get "their guy". If he was your guy the entire time why waste your time with Miles, and chase Harbaugh? Why not just call in Hoake.

He was actually pretty good in his lone year at Texas, which is what I was basing my argument on.

God awful head coach though.

He was OK at Texas, but nothing special. He inherited Derrick Johnson and some good players. Not counting Texas' BS opener against North Texas (65-0), Texas gave up 21.5 points per game. Not exactly ground-breaking stuff.

I'm starting to think that it was Hoke all along and the talk about Les Miles was just a bargaining chip to get the contract extension from LSU. Hoke is a good hire, Michigan man, Brandon made the right decision. I think Denard will stay, we win 7-8 next year + the bowl game. Then, Big Ten Champs in '12.
