I'd imagine there's usually a reason someone gets canned, usually financial.

I highly doubt it was just the socks....he even said that him and Spags didn't get along and Spags telling him to not talk back is a sign that this guy had an inflated sense of self worth. This is Spags' show now and he obviously wants his people in place, as they'd be more likely to do what he wants them to do. This sort of thing happens all of the time.

Yea, it was for gambling, but here's an interesting link that I haven't seen before.

Anyways, I think this is a great move. I was disappointed in the play calling by the Rams, and I think firing the Equipment Manager will change this.
