Damn it Elway... you should have picked Koetter. Now the Jags are stuck with him.

John Fox is a good coach despite the last few losing seasons he had in Carolina. I'm now interested to see if the Broncos will go back to a 4-3 defense seeing as how John Fox has always been a 4-3 guy

Damn it. Not a bad hire either.

Almost certainly locks the Denver into drafting Fairley or Bowers #2 overall as well.

Nice. I definitely think John Fox can turn things around in Denver. Hopefully he can bring about a similar turnaround as the one he brought about when he started at Carolina. They were 1-15, the year before he took over with one of the worst defenses in the league. The next year they had a top ten defense, and the year after that they went to the Super Bowl!

IMO, we have to take Fairley or trade down, he's the only defensive lineman worthy of the second spot in the draft. If Fairley is taken, we should have no problem trading down with a team desperate for AJ Green.

Now the only question is, who will they put in charge of the offense and developing Tim Tebow.

Fox is bringing Jim Mora Jr in as defensive coordinator.

Not necessarily. I'd expect eventually Fox will make the transition to a 4-3 defense, but that would be hard to to in one offseason. Mora has experience with the 3-4, and I expect the Broncos to use that scheme in 2011.

Switching to the 4-3 would require Ayers and Dumervil to switch back to defensive ends, as neither of them fit as linebackers in the 4-3. We've seen Dumervil at defensive end before, and he wasn't pretty against the run. Ayers hasn't played at defensive end at college, I've read mixed opinions on how effective he'd be there. Dumervil is the highest paid player on the defense, and I doubt the front office wants to give up on Ayers this early if he doesn't fit at defensive end, so the 3-4 might be required for now. Who would have thought that of the five first round picks McDaniels used, Tim Tebow would be by far the most impressive at this point?

Also, John Fox spoke very highly of Tim Tebow before the draft last year. :D

Fairley or one of the CBs for Denver @ the two spot, perhaps even Bowers if Carolina doesn't take him.

Bowers is a freak. I saw him in person in Tallahassee against the Noles. I definitley dont agree with the comment that he wont be a good pro.

Also Denver already has the personnel to run a 4-3 with Moss,Ayers, and Dumervil who can all play DE. They need a DT to run a successfull 4-3 to attack the A gap so Fairley would be the ideal pick for them

                          LOL if Denver hires Mora.

Fox went 8-8 twice in nine years in Carolina, you retarded french fry. STFU.

Fox was 71-57 before last year.
