From his twitter: "Wes Welker is a great player. He's really taken advantage of watching film. If we don't keep a Spy on him, he could really open the Gate."
So Nick Mangold gets back at Welker

Patriots fans are so one sided. If their team talks shit, they eat it up. But the minute Cromartie or Mangold says something they play the "oh we're above all that" card.Comment

Trying too hard? But making 11 jokes in 5 minutes isn't? I don't really give a shit, but it's stupid to condemn one as trying too hard and not being funny, when in actuality they are both forced and not really that funny.

edit: a stretch as in he was stretching for content to use. I dont think bringing up spygate would affect anybody on that team especially welker.

Yeah not really. A spy gate diss? Borrrring.
Welker's was much more creative, gutsy, and funnier. He took a direct shot at a public press conference at Rex Ryan and it was very personal. Mangold's was indirect, through twitter, and referenced something 2 or 3 years old?Comment
