So, I'll wait for now, and see how things play out.
I'd like to see what Ben does as well before I settle on number 3.

I just think Brees spot is up for grabs in the top 5 because all the INT's this year and a bad loss to the Seahawks in the first round. If Ben wins his third, IMO he clearly jumps Brees. If Rodgers wins, it's not as cut in dry but not a ridiculous debate.

Brees regressed back to the INT machine he always was, especially at critical junctures. The sun shined on the Saints asses last year, I tried to tell you guys. Brees is closer as a player to his severly overated 2008, then he is to his career year of 2009. He's a notch below the elite, but fantasy geeks willl never get it.

No sir, I am a Packers Fan from back in the Lombardi days, and I was a Rodgers supporter from the very beginning.

Win/Lose/or Draw next week, I fully support Rodgers, McCarthy and TT. I personally have to disagree with you.

I don't think he's talking about the Packer fans on the board. Just everyone that jumped on his dick after seeing him throw record numbers in his first 3 career playoff games.

as it is, ben still has 2 rings so ben>rodgers no matter what

ben has the benefit of a great team, brees plays for the saints. brees is a better qb right now than ben IMO.

I know Ben played well through the playoffs of the first SB, but combine his actual SB play with what Rodgers has done right now with countless guys on IR, I'd nudge Rodgers over Ben if the Packers win it all. It's extremely close though.

Which is why I have Brees over Ben for now. If Ben wins the SB (again *shudders*) then I'll notch him up to third.

to be honest, Rodgers and Ben are almost equal in my mind but Ben has the slight slight edge just because he's proven his metal in the crucial moments more often than Rodgers. I mean, game winning 2 minute drill drive in the Super Bowl, doesn't get more clutch than that

What injuries do the Packers have on offense now?

Ryan Grant? They are getting great production from Starks

Finely? They have an abundance of WRs to throw to.

Rodgers is a great QB but him playing without his RB and TE don't make him better. Injuries are something every team has to go through. Its not like Rodgers is now throwing to guys who have come off the street (Manning).

Starks had one good game, that doesn't change the fact that Godgers has led this team without a rushing attack all season.

Jermichael Finley was the #1 passing target. Yes, they have great depth, but he is a playmaker that can't be replaced at the TE position.

With the experience Quarless and Crabtree are getting this year, just imagine how good that TE position will be next season.
