Why would the Raiders pick AP and follow up with Ray Rice the following year?

I was looking at the 7th round of the 2007 draft and was just amazed at the talent. Just a great draft overall I think. From the 1st to the 7th rounds there are just tons of guys in there that are every week contributers and stars. Sure there are a few busts (looking at you Vince Young, Matt Leinert and Bobby Carpenter) but overall I'd say it was a pretty solid draft class.

Cause the redraft has AP going 1st overall.

im gonna do the 2009 and 2010 drafts though these ones will be harder since it is really hard to judge who the top players really are. ill probably do 2002 and before that at some point.

I woulda killed myself if the Lions drafted Freeman..lol but Cassel at QB, Turner at RB, Andre and Calvin Johnson at WR, Dumervil and Suh on the D-Line would have been a huge change..

I guess the same could go for every team when you look back and who they could've grabbed lol.

Jaguars have Marcedes Lewis... why would we take Rob Gronkowski? For shits and giggles?

mainly because i forgot about him and was thinking more along the lines of who i had them re-draft as opposed to who they have today. who would you like? ill change it for you.

I'd still take Monroe and Alualu, both are key pieces to our teams success.
I also think Earl Thomas is a top ten talent from the 2010 draft, if we didn't take Alualu for some reason, I would of loved Earl Thomas

I'd like to be able to see the Eagles re-draft this past year. I am sure they would re-think the B.Graham pick. Jason Pierre Paul at 6-5 270 lbs doesn't just look the part he was clearly the better pick but they are the people who get paid to make the decisions.

If I was a GM I'd trade my 1st for more 2nd and 3rd round picks everytime unless I felt there a player that was worthy of the 1st round, and usually there are 5-10 1st rounders that actually pan out to be stars.

If you were a GM, the fan base would burn an effigy of you and the owner for being stupid enough to hire someone who sees first round picks as not worth it.

Majority of first rounders end up starting during their rookie year. The success rate of first rounders is much higher then any other round. If first rounders were worthless they wouldn't be making millions upon millions.

4 First rounders are pro bowlers. 1 player from the rest of the draft is in the pro bowl. Yeah, first round picks just don't matter.

Ignore the fact that majority of the players used in these redrafts were originally first rounders anyway.
